Isaiah 48
1 యాకోబు వంశస్థులై ఇశ్రాయేలు అను పేరు కలిగినవారలారా, యూదా జలములలోనుండి బయలుదేరి వచ్చినవారై యెహోవా నామముతోడని ప్రమాణము చేయుచు ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుని నామమును స్మరించుచు నీతిసత్యములను అనుసరింపనివారలారా, ఈ మాట ఆలకించుడి.
2 వారుమేము పరిశుద్ధ పట్టణస్థులమను పేరు పెట్టు కొని ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుని ఆశ్రయించుదురు సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా అని ఆయనకు పేరు.
3 పూర్వకాలమున జరిగిన సంగతులను నేను చాల కాలముక్రిందట తెలియజేసితిని ఆ సమాచారము నా నోటనుండి బయలుదేరెను నేను వాటిని ప్రకటించితిని నేను ఆకస్మికముగా వాటిని చేయగా అవి సంభ వించెను.
4 నీవు మూర్ఖుడవనియు నీ మెడ యినుప నరమనియు నీ నుదురు ఇత్తడిదనియు నేనెరిగియుండి
5 నా విగ్రహము ఈ కార్యములను జరిగించెననియు నేను చెక్కిన ప్రతిమ నేను పోసిన పోత విగ్రహము దీని నియమించెననియు నీవు చెప్పకుండునట్లు పూర్వకాలముననే ఆ సమా చారము నీకు తెలియజేసితిని అది జరుగకమునుపే దానిని నీకు ప్రకటించితిని
6 నీవు ఆ సంగతి వినియున్నావు ఇదంతయు ఆలో చించుము అది నిజమని మీరు ఒప్పుకొనవలెను గదా? తెలియని మరుగైన క్రొత్తసంగతులు నేనికమీదట నీకు తెలియజేయుచున్నాను
7 అవి పూర్వకాలమున సృజింపబడినవి కావు అవి ఇప్పుడు కలుగునవియే. అవి నాకు తెలిసేయున్నవని నీవు చెప్పకుండునట్లు, ఈ దినమునకు ముందు నీవు వాటిని వినియుండ లేదు.
8 అవి నీకు వినబడనే లేదు నీకు తెలియబడనే లేదు పూర్వమునుండి నీ చెవి తెరువబడనేలేదు నీవు అపనమ్మకస్థుడవై నీ తల్లి గర్భమున పుట్టినది మొదలుకొని తిరుగుబాటు చేయువాడవని అని పించుకొంటివని నాకు తెలియును.
9 నేను నిన్ను నిర్మూలము చేయకుండునట్లు నా నామ మునుబట్టి నా కోపము మానుకొనుచున్నాను నా కీర్తి నిమిత్తము నీ విషయములో నన్ను బిగబట్టు కొనుచున్నాను.
10 నేను నిన్ను పుటమువేసితిని వెండిని వేసినట్లు కాదు ఇబ్బంది కొలిమిలో నిన్ను పరీక్షించితిని
11 నా నిమిత్తము నా నిమిత్తమే ఆలాగు చేసెదను నా నామము అపవిత్రపరచబడనేల? నా మహిమను మరి ఎవరికిని నేనిచ్చువాడను కాను.
12 యాకోబూ, నేను పిలిచిన ఇశ్రాయేలూ, నాకు చెవి యొగ్గి వినుము. నేనే ఆయనను నేను మొదటివాడను కడపటివాడను
13 నా హస్తము భూమి పునాదివేసెను నా కుడిచెయ్యి ఆకాశవైశాల్యములను వ్యాపింపజేసెను నేను వాటిని పిలువగా ఒకటి తప్పకుండ అవన్నియు నిలుచును.
14 మీరందరు కూడివచ్చి ఆలకించుడి వాటిలో ఏది యీ సంగతి తెలియజేయును? యెహోవా ప్రేమించువాడు ఆయన చిత్తప్రకా రము బబులోనునకు చేయును అతని బాహుబలము కల్దీయులమీదికి వచ్చును.
15 నేను, నేనే ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చినవాడను, నేనే అతని పిలిచితిని నేనే అతనిని రప్పించితిని అతని మార్గము తేజరిల్లును. నాయొద్దకు రండి యీ మాట ఆలకించుడి
16 ఆదినుండి నేను రహస్యముగా మాటలాడినవాడను కాను అది పుట్టినకాలము మొదలుకొని నేను అక్కడ నున్న వాడను ఇప్పుడు ప్రభువగు యెహోవాయు ఆయన ఆత్మయు నన్ను పంపెను
17 నీ విమోచకుడును ఇశ్రాయేలు పరిశుద్ధదేవుడునైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నీకు ప్రయోజనము కలుగునట్లు నీ దేవుడనైన యెహోవానగు నేనే నీకు ఉపదేశము చేయుదును నీవు నడవవలసిన త్రోవను నిన్ను నడిపించుదును.
18 నీవు నా ఆజ్ఞలను ఆలకింపవలెనని నేనెంతో కోరు చున్నాను ఆలకించినయెడల నీ క్షేమము నదివలెను నీ నీతి సముద్రతరంగములవలెను ఉండును.
19 నీ సంతానము ఇసుకవలె విస్తారమగును నీ గర్భఫలము దాని రేణువులవలె విస్తరించును వారి నామము నా సన్నిధినుండి కొట్టివేయబడదు మరువబడదు
20 బబులోనునుండి బయలువెళ్లుడి కల్దీయుల దేశములోనుండి పారిపోవుడి యెహోవా తన సేవకుడైన యాకోబును విమోచించె నను సంగతి ఉత్సాహధ్వనితో తెలియజేయుడి భూదిగంతములవరకు అది వినబడునట్లు దాని ప్రక టించుడి.
21 ఎడారి స్థలములలో ఆయన వారిని నడిపించెను వారు దప్పిగొనలేదు రాతికొండలోనుండి వారికొరకు ఆయన నీళ్లు ఉబుక జేసెను ఆయన కొండను చీల్చగా నీళ్లు ప్రవాహముగా బయలుదేరెను.
22 దుష్టులకు నెమ్మదియుండదని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు.
1 Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of the Lord, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.
2 For they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves upon the God of Israel; The Lord of hosts is his name.
3 I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.
4 Because I knew that thou art obstinate, and thy neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass;
5 I have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I shewed it thee: lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them.
6 Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them.
7 They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them.
8 Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from that time that thine ear was not opened: for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and wast called a transgressor from the womb.
9 For my name’s sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off.
10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.
11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.
12 Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.
13 Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.
14 All ye, assemble yourselves, and hear; which among them hath declared these things? The Lord hath loved him: he will do his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans.
15 I, even I, have spoken; yea, I have called him: I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous.
16 Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord God, and his Spirit, hath sent me.
17 Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
18 O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:
19 Thy seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof; his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me.
20 Go ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The Lord hath redeemed his servant Jacob.
21 And they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out.
22 There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked.
Isaiah 57 in Tamil and English
1 నీతిమంతులు నశించుట చూచి యెవరును దానిని మనస్సున పెట్టరు భక్తులైనవారు తీసికొనిపోబడుచున్నారు కీడు చూడకుండ నీతిమంతులు కొనిపోబడుచున్నారని యెవనికిని తోచదు.
The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
2 వారు విశ్రాంతిలో ప్రవేశించుచున్నారు తమకు సూటిగానున్న మార్గమున నడచువారు తమ పడకలమీద పరుండి విశ్రమించుచున్నారు.
He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.
3 మంత్రప్రయోగపు కొడుకులారా, వ్యభిచార సంతానమా, వేశ్యాసంతానమా, మీరక్కడికి రండి.
But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore.
4 మీరెవని ఎగతాళి చేయుచున్నారు? ఎవని చూచి నోరు తెరచి నాలుక చాచుచున్నారు? మీరు తిరుగుబాటు చేయువారును అబద్ధికులును కారా?
Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood,
5 మస్తచావృక్షములను చూచి పచ్చని ప్రతిచెట్టు క్రిందను కామము రేపుకొనువారలారా, లోయలలో రాతిసందులక్రింద పిల్లలను చంపువార లారా,
Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks?
6 నీ భాగ్యము లోయలోని రాళ్లలోనే యున్నది అవియే నీకు భాగ్యము, వాటికే పానీయార్పణము చేయుచున్నావు వాటికే నైవేద్యము నర్పించుచున్నావు.ఇవన్నియు జరుగగా నేను ఊరకుండదగునా?
Among the smooth stones of the stream is thy portion; they, they are thy lot: even to them hast thou poured a drink offering, thou hast offered a meat offering. Should I receive comfort in these?
7 ఉన్నతమైన మహాపర్వతముమీద నీ పరుపు వేసి కొంటివి బలి అర్పించుటకు అక్కడికే యెక్కితివి తలుపువెనుకను ద్వారబంధము వెనుకను నీ జ్ఞాపకచిహ్నము ఉంచితివి
Upon a lofty and high mountain hast thou set thy bed: even thither wentest thou up to offer sacrifice.
8 నాకు మరుగై బట్టలు తీసి మంచమెక్కితివి నీ పరుపు వెడల్పుచేసికొని నీ పక్షముగా వారితో నిబంధన చేసితివి నీవు వారి మంచము కనబడిన చోట దాని ప్రేమిం చితివి.
Behind the doors also and the posts hast thou set up thy remembrance: for thou hast discovered thyself to another than me, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made thee a covenant with them; thou lovedst their bed where thou sawest it.
9 నీవు తైలము తీసికొని రాజునొద్దకు పోతివి పరిమళ ద్రవ్యములను విస్తారముగా తీసికొని నీ రాయబారులను దూరమునకు పంపితివి పాతాళమంత లోతుగా నీవు లొంగితివి
And thou wentest to the king with ointment, and didst increase thy perfumes, and didst send thy messengers far off, and didst debase thyself even unto hell.
10 నీ దూరప్రయాణముచేత నీవు ప్రయాసపడినను అది అసాధ్యమని నీవనుకొనలేదు నీవు బలము తెచ్చుకొంటిని గనుక నీవు సొమ్మసిల్లలేదు.
Thou art wearied in the greatness of thy way; yet saidst thou not, There is no hope: thou hast found the life of thine hand; therefore thou wast not grieved.
11 ఎవనికి జడిసి భయపడినందున ఆ సంగతి మనస్కరింపకపోతివి? నీవు కల్లలాడి నన్ను జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనకపోతివి బహుకాలమునుండి నేను మౌనముగానుండినందు ననే గదా నీవు నాకు భయపడుట లేదు?
And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not?
12 నీ నీతి యెంతో నేనే తెలియజేసెదను, నీ క్రియలు నీకు నిష్‌ప్రయోజనములగును.
I will declare thy righteousness, and thy works; for they shall not profit thee.
13 నీవు మొఱ్ఱపెట్టునప్పుడు నీ విగ్రహముల గుంపు నిన్ను తప్పించునేమో గాలి వాటినన్నిటిని ఎగరగొట్టును గదా? ఒకడు ఊపిరి విడిచినమాత్రమున అవియన్నియు కొట్టుకొనిపోవును నన్ను నమ్ముకొనువారు దేశమును స్వతంత్రించు కొందురు నా పరిశుద్ధ పర్వతమును స్వాధీనపరచుకొందురు.
When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain;
14 ఎత్తుచేయుడి ఎత్తుచేయుడి త్రోవను సిద్ధపరచుడి, అడ్డు చేయుదానిని నా జనుల మార్గములోనుండి తీసివేయుడి అని ఆయన ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చుచున్నాడు.
And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my people.
15 మహా ఘనుడును మహోన్నతుడును పరిశుద్ధుడును నిత్యనివాసియునైనవాడు ఈలాగు సెల విచ్చుచున్నాడు నేను మహోన్నతమైన పరిశుద్ధస్థలములో నివసించు వాడను అయినను వినయముగలవారి ప్రాణమును ఉజ్జీవింప జేయుటకును నలిగినవారి ప్రాణమును ఉజ్జీవింపజేయుటకును వినయముగలవారియొద్దను దీనమనస్సుగలవారియొద్దను నివసించుచున్నాను.
For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
16 నేను నిత్యము పోరాడువాడను కాను ఎల్లప్పుడును కోపించువాడను కాను ఆలాగుండినయెడల నా మూలముగా జీవాత్మ క్షీణిం చును నేను పుట్టించిన నరులు క్షీణించిపోవుదురు.
For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.
17 వారి లోభమువలన కలిగిన దోషమునుబట్టి నేను ఆగ్రహపడి వారిని కొట్టితిని నేను నా ముఖము మరుగుచేసికొని కోపించితిని వారు తిరుగబడి తమకిష్టమైన మార్గమున నడచుచు వచ్చిరి.
For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.
18 నేను వారి ప్రవర్తనను చూచితిని వారిని స్వస్థపరచుదును వారిని నడిపింతును వారిలో దుఃఖించువారిని ఓదార్చుదును.
I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.
19 వారిలో కృతజ్ఞతాబుద్ధి పుట్టించుచు దూరస్థులకును సమీపస్థులకును సమాధానము సమా ధానమని చెప్పి నేనే వారిని స్వస్థపరచెదనని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు.
I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him.
20 భక్తిహీనులు కదలుచున్న సముద్రమువంటివారు అది నిమ్మళింపనేరదు దాని జలములు బురదను మైలను పైకివేయును.
But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
21 దుష్టులకు నెమ్మదియుండదని నా దేవుడు సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు.
There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.
