Ezekiel 29:9
ఐగుప్తుదేశము నిర్మానుష్యమై పాడుగా ఉండును, అప్పుడు నేను యెహోవానై యున్నానని వారు తెలిసికొందురు. నైలునది నాది, నేనే దాని కలుగజేసితినని అతడనుకొను చున్నాడు గనుక

| of Egypt | אֶֽרֶץ | ʾereṣ | EH-rets |
| shall be | מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ | miṣrayim | meets-RA-YEEM |
| desolate | לִשְׁמָמָ֣ה | lišmāmâ | leesh-ma-MA |
| waste; and | וְחָרְבָּ֔ה | wĕḥorbâ | veh-hore-BA |
| and they shall know | וְיָדְע֖וּ | wĕyodʿû | veh-yode-OO |
| that | כִּֽי | kî | kee |
| I | אֲנִ֣י | ʾănî | uh-NEE |
| Lord: the am | יְהוָ֑ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| because | יַ֧עַן | yaʿan | YA-an |
| he hath said, | אָמַ֛ר | ʾāmar | ah-MAHR |
| The river | יְאֹ֥ר | yĕʾōr | yeh-ORE |
| I and mine, is | לִ֖י | lî | lee |
| have made | וַאֲנִ֥י | waʾănî | va-uh-NEE |
| it. | עָשִֽׂיתִי׃ | ʿāśîtî | ah-SEE-tee |
