2 Kings 17:5
అష్షూరురాజు దేశమంతటిమీదికిని షోమ్రోనుమీదికిని వచ్చి మూడు సంవత్సరములు షోమ్రో నును ముట్టడించెను.

| up went and | וַיַּ֙עַל֙ | wayyaʿal | va-YA-AL |
| to Samaria, | שֹֽׁמְר֔וֹן | šōmĕrôn | shoh-meh-RONE |
| and besieged | וַיָּ֥צַר | wayyāṣar | va-YA-tsahr |
| עָלֶ֖יהָ | ʿālêhā | ah-LAY-ha | |
| it three | שָׁלֹ֥שׁ | šālōš | sha-LOHSH |
| years. | שָׁנִֽים׃ | šānîm | sha-NEEM |
