ਹਿਜ਼ ਕੀ ਐਲ 37

1 ਸੁੱਕੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਆਈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ (ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ) ਲੈ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਵਾਦੀ ਮਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ।

2 ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ-ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਪਈਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ਕ ਸਨ।

3 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਕੀ ਇਹ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਮੁੜਕੇ ਜਿਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ?” ਮੈਂ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਸਵਾਲ ਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ।”

4 ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ, ‘ਖੁਸ਼ਕ ਹੱਡੀਓ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣੋ!

5 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ; ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਉਣ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਿਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੋਁਗੀਆਂ!

6 ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਾਸ ਪੇਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਡੌਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚਮੜੀ ਨਾਲ ਢੱਕੱ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਾਹ ਭਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜਿਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੋਁਗੀਆਂ! ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਲਵੋਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹਾਂ।’”

7 ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਹਾਲੇ ਗੱਲ ਹੀ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਸੁਣਿਆ। ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਕੜਕਣ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੱਡੀ ਦੂਜੀ ਹੱਡੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਨ ਲਗੀ।

8 ਓੱਥੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਮੈਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਮਾਸਪੇਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੱਠੇ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਢੱਕਣ ਲੱਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਚਮੜੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਢੱਕਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਈ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ।

9 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ, ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ। ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਹਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ। ਹਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: ‘ਹਵਾਏ, ਹਰ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਹ ਫ਼ੂਕ ਦੇ! ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਹ ਫ਼ੂਕ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜਿਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ!’”

10 ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਹਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਸਾਹ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹ ਜਿਉਂ ਪਏ ਅਤੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਓੱਥੇ ਬਹੁਤ, ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਸਨ-ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਸੀ।

11 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਇਹ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਹਨ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ‘ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਖੁਸ਼ਕ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਸਾਡੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਾਂ!’

12 ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਗੱਲ ਕਰੀਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ! ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ।

13 ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ।

14 ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ। ਫੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਲੈ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।’” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ ਸਨ।

15 ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਇੱਕ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ,

16 “ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਇੱਕ ਸੋਟੀ ਲੈ ਲੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਲਿਖ ਲੈ: ‘ਇਹ ਸੋਟੀ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੈ।’ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਸੋਟੀ ਲੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਖ, ‘ਇਹ ਅਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦੀ ਸੋਟੀ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ, ਦੀ ਹੈ’

17 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਸੋਟੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜ ਦੇਵੀਂ। ਤੇਰੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਸੋਟੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ।

18 “ਤੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਮਝਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਇਸਦਾ ਕੀ ਅਰਬ ਹੈ।

19 ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੀ ਸੋਟੀ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਅਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਸੋਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰੱਖ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸੋਟੀ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੇਰੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਸੋਟੀ ਬਣ ਜਾਣਗੇ!’

20 “ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੋਟੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ੜ। ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੋਟੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹ ਨਾਮ ਲਿਖੇ ਸਨ।

21 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: ‘ਮੈਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਪਾਸਿਓ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ।

22 ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤਾਂ ਉਤਲੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਕੌਮ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਇੱਕ ਰਾਜਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਦੋ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣੀਆਂ ਰਹਿਣਗੀਆਂ ਉਹ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਹੋਰ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਦੋ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੰਡੀਆਂ ਰਹਿਣਗੀਆਂ।

23 ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਬਨਾਉਣਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਣਗੇ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ।

24 “‘ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਦਾਊਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਓੱਥੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਹੀ ਆਜੜੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜਿਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਓਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਾਂਗਾ।

25 ਉਹ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਓੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤ ਪੋਤੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਲਈ ਓੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਦਾਊਦ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਗੂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

26 ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਇਹ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਸਦਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਸਹਿਮਤ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ, ਬਹੁਤ ਲੋਕ ਬਣ ਜਾਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਿਮਤ ਹਾਂ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਸਹਿਮਤ ਹਾਂ।

27 ਮੇਰਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਤੰਬੂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

28 ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਰੱਖਕੇ, ਆਪਣੇ ਖਾਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।’”

1 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.

3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.

4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.

5 Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.

9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

13 And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,

14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.

15 The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,

16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:

17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.

18 And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?

19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.

20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.

21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:

23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

28 And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

1 ਸੁੱਕੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਆਈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ (ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ) ਲੈ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਵਾਦੀ ਮਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ।

2 ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ-ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਪਈਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ਕ ਸਨ।

3 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਕੀ ਇਹ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਮੁੜਕੇ ਜਿਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ?” ਮੈਂ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਸਵਾਲ ਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ।”

4 ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ, ‘ਖੁਸ਼ਕ ਹੱਡੀਓ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣੋ!

5 ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ; ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਉਣ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਿਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੋਁਗੀਆਂ!

6 ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਾਸ ਪੇਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਡੌਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚਮੜੀ ਨਾਲ ਢੱਕੱ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਾਹ ਭਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜਿਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੋਁਗੀਆਂ! ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਲਵੋਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹਾਂ।’”

7 ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਹਾਲੇ ਗੱਲ ਹੀ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਸੁਣਿਆ। ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਕੜਕਣ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੱਡੀ ਦੂਜੀ ਹੱਡੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਨ ਲਗੀ।

8 ਓੱਥੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਮੈਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਮਾਸਪੇਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੱਠੇ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਢੱਕਣ ਲੱਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਚਮੜੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਢੱਕਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਈ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ।

9 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ, ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ। ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਹਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ। ਹਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: ‘ਹਵਾਏ, ਹਰ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਹ ਫ਼ੂਕ ਦੇ! ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਹ ਫ਼ੂਕ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜਿਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ!’”

10 ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਹਵਾ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਸਾਹ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹ ਜਿਉਂ ਪਏ ਅਤੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਓੱਥੇ ਬਹੁਤ, ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਸਨ-ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਸੀ।

11 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਇਹ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਹਨ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ‘ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਖੁਸ਼ਕ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਸਾਡੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਾਂ!’

12 ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਗੱਲ ਕਰੀਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ! ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ।

13 ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ।

14 ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ। ਫੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਲੈ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।’” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ ਸਨ।

15 ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਇੱਕ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ,

16 “ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਇੱਕ ਸੋਟੀ ਲੈ ਲੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਲਿਖ ਲੈ: ‘ਇਹ ਸੋਟੀ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੈ।’ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਸੋਟੀ ਲੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਖ, ‘ਇਹ ਅਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦੀ ਸੋਟੀ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ, ਦੀ ਹੈ’

17 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਸੋਟੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜ ਦੇਵੀਂ। ਤੇਰੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਸੋਟੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ।

18 “ਤੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਮਝਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਇਸਦਾ ਕੀ ਅਰਬ ਹੈ।

19 ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੀ ਸੋਟੀ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਅਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਸੋਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰੱਖ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸੋਟੀ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੇਰੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਸੋਟੀ ਬਣ ਜਾਣਗੇ!’

20 “ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੋਟੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ੜ। ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੋਟੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹ ਨਾਮ ਲਿਖੇ ਸਨ।

21 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: ‘ਮੈਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਪਾਸਿਓ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ।

22 ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤਾਂ ਉਤਲੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਕੌਮ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਇੱਕ ਰਾਜਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਦੋ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣੀਆਂ ਰਹਿਣਗੀਆਂ ਉਹ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਹੋਰ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਦੋ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੰਡੀਆਂ ਰਹਿਣਗੀਆਂ।

23 ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਬਨਾਉਣਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਖਣਗੇ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ।

24 “‘ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਦਾਊਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਓੱਥੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਹੀ ਆਜੜੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜਿਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਓਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਾਂਗਾ।

25 ਉਹ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਓੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤ ਪੋਤੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਲਈ ਓੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਦਾਊਦ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਗੂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

26 ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦਾ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਇਹ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਸਦਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਸਹਿਮਤ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ, ਬਹੁਤ ਲੋਕ ਬਣ ਜਾਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਿਮਤ ਹਾਂ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਸਹਿਮਤ ਹਾਂ।

27 ਮੇਰਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਤੰਬੂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

28 ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਰੱਖਕੇ, ਆਪਣੇ ਖਾਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।’”

1 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.

3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.

4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.

5 Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.

9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

13 And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,

14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.

15 The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,

16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:

17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.

18 And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?

19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.

20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.

21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:

23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

28 And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
