Isaiah 14:2
ਉਹ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਾਪਸ ਲੈ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਰਦ ਤੇ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਬਣ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਅਤੀਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਬਣਨ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦੇਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਦੋਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

| of Israel | בֵּֽית | bêt | bate |
| shall possess | יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| in them | עַ֚ל | ʿal | al |
| the land | אַדְמַ֣ת | ʾadmat | ad-MAHT |
| Lord the of | יְהוָ֔ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| for servants | לַעֲבָדִ֖ים | laʿăbādîm | la-uh-va-DEEM |
| and handmaids: | וְלִשְׁפָח֑וֹת | wĕlišpāḥôt | veh-leesh-fa-HOTE |
| take shall they and | וְהָיוּ֙ | wĕhāyû | veh-ha-YOO |
| them captives, | שֹׁבִ֣ים | šōbîm | shoh-VEEM |
| captives whose | לְשֹֽׁבֵיהֶ֔ם | lĕšōbêhem | leh-shoh-vay-HEM |
