Isaiah 13:9
ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਦੇਖੋ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਖਾਸ ਦਿਨ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ! ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਦਿਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕਹਿਰਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਰੇਕ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਦੇਸ ਛੱਡਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

| the land | הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-RETS |
| desolate: | לְשַׁמָּ֔ה | lĕšammâ | leh-sha-MA |
| destroy shall he and | וְחַטָּאֶ֖יהָ | wĕḥaṭṭāʾêhā | veh-ha-ta-A-ha |
| the sinners | יַשְׁמִ֥יד | yašmîd | yahsh-MEED |
| thereof out of | מִמֶּֽנָּה׃ | mimmennâ | mee-MEH-na |
