Acts 4:21
ਯਹੂਦੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਰਾਹ ਨਾ ਲੱਭਿਆ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸਬੂਤ ਵਜੋਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਲੰਗੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਚੰਗਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਉਸਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਚਾਲੀ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਮਕਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

Luke 20:6

ਪਰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਰ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਫ਼ੈਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਆਉ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਮਕਾਈਏ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੋਲਣਗੇ।”
