ਤਦ ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਹਿਲੋਠੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਿ ਉਸਦੀ ਥਾਵੇਂ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਗਰ ਦੀ ਕੰਧ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਵਜੋਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਇਆ। ਇਹ ਵੇਖਕੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਬੜੇ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਹੋਏ, ਅਤੇ ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਨੋ ਹਟ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਤ ਗਏ।

ਸੋ ਅਦੋਮੀ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਆਕੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਤੀਕ ਆਕੀ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਇਸਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਲਿਬਨਾਹ ਵੀ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਆਕੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
Genesis 27:40
