וַיִּֽתְקַבְּצ֣וּ they va-yee-teh-ka-beh-TSOO יַחְדָּ֔ו gathered yahk-DAHV לְהִלָּחֵ֥ם themselves leh-hee-la-HAME עִם together, eem יְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ to yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah וְעִם fight veh-EEM יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל with yees-ra-ALE פֶּ֖ה Joshua peh אֶחָֽד׃ and eh-HAHD -

וּנְעָל֨וֹת old oo-neh-ah-LOTE בָּל֤וֹת shoes ba-LOTE וּמְטֻלָּאוֹת֙ and oo-meh-too-la-OTE בְּרַגְלֵיהֶ֔ם clouted beh-rahɡ-lay-HEM וּשְׂלָמ֥וֹת upon oo-seh-la-MOTE בָּל֖וֹת their ba-LOTE עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם feet, uh-lay-HEM וְכֹל֙ and veh-HOLE לֶ֣חֶם old LEH-hem צֵידָ֔ם garments tsay-DAHM יָבֵ֖שׁ upon ya-VAYSH הָיָ֥ה them; ha-YA נִקֻּדִֽים׃ and nee-koo-DEEM -

וְאֵ֨לֶּה these veh-A-leh נֹאד֤וֹת bottles noh-DOTE הַיַּ֙יִן֙ of ha-YA-YEEN אֲשֶׁ֣ר wine, uh-SHER מִלֵּ֣אנוּ which mee-LAY-noo חֲדָשִׁ֔ים we huh-da-SHEEM וְהִנֵּ֖ה filled, veh-hee-NAY הִתְבַּקָּ֑עוּ were heet-ba-KA-oo וְאֵ֤לֶּה new; veh-A-leh שַׂלְמוֹתֵ֙ינוּ֙ and, sahl-moh-TAY-NOO וּנְעָלֵ֔ינוּ behold, oo-neh-ah-LAY-noo בָּל֕וּ they ba-LOO מֵרֹ֥ב be may-ROVE הַדֶּ֖רֶךְ rent: ha-DEH-rek מְאֹֽד׃ and meh-ODE -
וַיִּקְח֥וּ the va-yeek-HOO הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֖ים men ha-uh-na-SHEEM מִצֵּידָ֑ם took mee-tsay-DAHM וְאֶת of veh-ET פִּ֥י their pee יְהוָ֖ה victuals, yeh-VA לֹ֥א and loh שָׁאָֽלוּ׃ asked sha-ah-LOO -
וַיַּ֨עַשׂ Joshua va-YA-as לָהֶ֤ם made la-HEM יְהוֹשֻׁ֙עַ֙ peace yeh-hoh-SHOO-AH שָׁל֔וֹם with sha-LOME וַיִּכְרֹ֥ת them, va-yeek-ROTE לָהֶ֛ם and la-HEM בְּרִ֖ית made beh-REET לְחַיּוֹתָ֑ם a leh-ha-yoh-TAHM וַיִּשָּֽׁבְע֣וּ league va-yee-sha-veh-OO לָהֶ֔ם with la-HEM נְשִׂיאֵ֖י them, neh-see-A הָֽעֵדָֽה׃ to HA-ay-DA -
וַיְהִ֗י it vai-HEE מִקְצֵה֙ came meek-TSAY שְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת to sheh-LOH-shet יָמִ֔ים pass ya-MEEM אַֽחֲרֵ֕י at ah-huh-RAY אֲשֶׁר the uh-SHER כָּֽרְת֥וּ end ka-reh-TOO לָהֶ֖ם of la-HEM בְּרִ֑ית three beh-REET וַֽיִּשְׁמְע֗וּ days va-yeesh-meh-OO כִּֽי after kee קְרֹבִ֥ים keh-roh-VEEM הֵם֙ they hame אֵלָ֔יו had ay-LAV וּבְקִרְבּ֖וֹ made oo-veh-keer-BOH הֵ֥ם a hame יֹֽשְׁבִֽים׃ league YOH-sheh-VEEM -
וַיִּסְע֣וּ the va-yees-OO בְנֵֽי children veh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל of yees-ra-ALE וַיָּבֹ֛אוּ Israel va-ya-VOH-oo אֶל journeyed, el עָֽרֵיהֶ֖ם and ah-ray-HEM בַּיּ֣וֹם came BA-yome הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֑י unto ha-sheh-lee-SHEE וְעָֽרֵיהֶם֙ their veh-ah-ray-HEM גִּבְע֣וֹן cities ɡeev-ONE וְהַכְּפִירָ֔ה on veh-ha-keh-fee-RA וּבְאֵר֖וֹת the oo-veh-ay-ROTE וְקִרְיַ֥ת third veh-keer-YAHT יְעָרִֽים׃ day. yeh-ah-REEM -

וַיִּקְרָ֤א Joshua va-yeek-RA לָהֶם֙ called la-HEM יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ for yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר them, vai-da-BARE אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם and uh-lay-HEM לֵאמֹ֑ר he lay-MORE לָמָּה֩ spake loh-MA רִמִּיתֶ֨ם unto ree-mee-TEM אֹתָ֜נוּ them, oh-TA-noo לֵאמֹ֗ר saying, lay-MORE רְחוֹקִ֨ים Wherefore reh-hoh-KEEM אֲנַ֤חְנוּ have uh-NAHK-noo מִכֶּם֙ ye mee-KEM מְאֹ֔ד beguiled meh-ODE וְאַתֶּ֖ם us, veh-ah-TEM בְּקִרְבֵּ֥נוּ saying, beh-keer-BAY-noo יֹֽשְׁבִֽים׃ We YOH-sheh-VEEM -
וְעַתָּ֖ה therefore veh-ah-TA אֲרוּרִ֣ים ye uh-roo-REEM אַתֶּ֑ם are ah-TEM וְלֹֽא cursed, veh-LOH יִכָּרֵ֨ת and yee-ka-RATE מִכֶּ֜ם there mee-KEM עֶ֗בֶד shall EH-ved וְחֹֽטְבֵ֥י none veh-hoh-teh-VAY עֵצִ֛ים of ay-TSEEM וְשֹֽׁאֲבֵי you veh-SHOH-uh-vay מַ֖יִם be MA-yeem לְבֵ֥ית freed leh-VATE אֱלֹהָֽי׃ from ay-loh-HAI -
וַיַּֽעֲנ֨וּ they va-ya-uh-NOO אֶת answered et יְהוֹשֻׁ֜עַ yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah וַיֹּֽאמְר֗וּ Joshua, va-yoh-meh-ROO כִּי֩ and kee הֻגֵּ֨ד said, hoo-ɡADE הֻגַּ֤ד Because hoo-ɡAHD לַֽעֲבָדֶ֙יךָ֙ it la-uh-va-DAY-HA אֵת֩ was ate אֲשֶׁ֨ר certainly uh-SHER צִוָּ֜ה told tsee-WA יְהוָ֤ה thy yeh-VA אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ servants, ay-loh-HAY-HA אֶת et מֹשֶׁ֣ה how moh-SHEH עַבְדּ֔וֹ that av-DOH לָתֵ֤ת the la-TATE לָכֶם֙ Lord la-HEM אֶת thy et כָּל God kahl הָאָ֔רֶץ commanded ha-AH-rets וּלְהַשְׁמִ֛יד his oo-leh-hahsh-MEED אֶת servant et כָּל kahl יֹֽשְׁבֵ֥י Moses yoh-sheh-VAY הָאָ֖רֶץ to ha-AH-rets מִפְּנֵיכֶ֑ם give mee-peh-nay-HEM וַנִּירָ֨א you va-nee-RA מְאֹ֤ד all meh-ODE לְנַפְשֹׁתֵ֙ינוּ֙ the leh-nahf-shoh-TAY-NOO מִפְּנֵיכֶ֔ם land, mee-peh-nay-HEM וַֽנַּעֲשֵׂ֖ה and va-na-uh-SAY אֶת to et הַדָּבָ֥ר destroy ha-da-VAHR הַזֶּֽה׃ ha-ZEH -
וְעַתָּ֖ה now, veh-ah-TA הִנְנ֣וּ behold, heen-NOO בְיָדֶ֑ךָ we veh-ya-DEH-ha כַּטּ֨וֹב are KA-tove וְכַיָּשָׁ֧ר in veh-ha-ya-SHAHR בְּעֵינֶ֛יךָ thine beh-ay-NAY-ha לַֽעֲשׂ֥וֹת hand: la-uh-SOTE לָ֖נוּ as LA-noo עֲשֵֽׂה׃ it uh-SAY -
וַיַּ֥עַשׂ so va-YA-as לָהֶ֖ם did la-HEM כֵּ֑ן he kane וַיַּצֵּ֥ל unto va-ya-TSALE אוֹתָ֛ם them, oh-TAHM מִיַּ֥ד and mee-YAHD בְּנֵֽי delivered beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל them yees-ra-ALE וְלֹ֥א out veh-LOH הֲרָגֽוּם׃ of huh-ra-ɡOOM -
