1 Kings 18:40
ତା'ପରେ ଏଲିଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲେ, ବାଲ୍ର ସମସ୍ତ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଙ୍କୁ ଧର, କାହାରିକୁ ଛାଡ ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ ଲୋକମାନେ ସମସ୍ତ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତାଙ୍କୁ ଧରିଲେ। ତତ୍ପରେ ଏଲିଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କୀଶୋନ ନଦୀ ନିକଟକୁ ନଇେ ସଠାେରେ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ।

| let not | הַבַּ֗עַל | habbaʿal | ha-BA-al |
| one | אִ֛ישׁ | ʾîš | eesh |
| of them escape. | אַל | ʾal | al |
| took they And | יִמָּלֵ֥ט | yimmālēṭ | yee-ma-LATE |
| them: and Elijah | מֵהֶ֖ם | mēhem | may-HEM |
| brought them down | וַֽיִּתְפְּשׂ֑וּם | wayyitpĕśûm | va-yeet-peh-SOOM |
| to | וַיּֽוֹרִדֵ֤ם | wayyôridēm | va-yoh-ree-DAME |
| the brook | אֵֽלִיָּ֙הוּ֙ | ʾēliyyāhû | ay-lee-YA-HOO |
| Kishon, | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| and slew | נַ֣חַל | naḥal | NA-hahl |
| them there. | קִישׁ֔וֹן | qîšôn | kee-SHONE |
