וַיֵּאָֽסְפ֤וּ all va-yay-ah-seh-FOO כָל the hahl הָעָם֙ people ha-AM כְּאִ֣ישׁ gathered keh-EESH אֶחָ֔ד themselves eh-HAHD אֶל together el הָ֣רְח֔וֹב as HA-reh-HOVE אֲשֶׁ֖ר one uh-SHER לִפְנֵ֣י man leef-NAY שַֽׁעַר into SHA-ar הַמָּ֑יִם the ha-MA-yeem וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙ street va-yoh-meh-ROO לְעֶזְרָ֣א that leh-ez-RA הַסֹּפֵ֔ר was ha-soh-FARE לְהָבִ֗יא before leh-ha-VEE אֶת the et סֵ֙פֶר֙ water SAY-FER תּוֹרַ֣ת gate; toh-RAHT מֹשֶׁ֔ה and moh-SHEH אֲשֶׁר they uh-SHER צִוָּ֥ה spake tsee-WA יְהוָ֖ה unto yeh-VA אֶת Ezra et יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ the yees-ra-ALE -
וַיָּבִ֣יא Ezra va-ya-VEE עֶזְרָ֣א the ez-RA הַ֠כֹּהֵן priest HA-koh-hane אֶֽת brought et הַתּוֹרָ֞ה ha-toh-RA לִפְנֵ֤י the leef-NAY הַקָּהָל֙ law ha-ka-HAHL מֵאִ֣ישׁ before may-EESH וְעַד the veh-AD אִשָּׁ֔ה congregation ee-SHA וְכֹ֖ל both veh-HOLE מֵבִ֣ין of may-VEEN לִשְׁמֹ֑עַ men leesh-MOH-ah בְּי֥וֹם and beh-YOME אֶחָ֖ד women, eh-HAHD לַחֹ֥דֶשׁ and la-HOH-desh הַשְּׁבִיעִֽי׃ all ha-sheh-vee-EE -
וַיִּקְרָא he va-yeek-RA בוֹ֩ read voh לִפְנֵ֨י therein leef-NAY הָֽרְח֜וֹב before ha-reh-HOVE אֲשֶׁ֣ר׀ the uh-SHER לִפְנֵ֣י street leef-NAY שַֽׁעַר that SHA-ar הַמַּ֗יִם was ha-MA-yeem מִן before meen הָאוֹר֙ the ha-ORE עַד water ad מַֽחֲצִ֣ית gate ma-huh-TSEET הַיּ֔וֹם from HA-yome נֶ֛גֶד the NEH-ɡed הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֥ים morning ha-uh-na-SHEEM וְהַנָּשִׁ֖ים until veh-ha-na-SHEEM וְהַמְּבִינִ֑ים midday, veh-ha-meh-vee-NEEM וְאָזְנֵ֥י veh-oze-NAY כָל before hahl הָעָ֖ם the ha-AM אֶל men el סֵ֥פֶר and SAY-fer הַתּוֹרָֽה׃ the ha-toh-RA -
וַֽיַּעֲמֹ֞ד Ezra va-ya-uh-MODE עֶזְרָ֣א the ez-RA הַסֹּפֵ֗ר scribe ha-soh-FARE עַֽל stood al מִגְדַּל upon meeɡ-DAHL עֵץ֮ a ayts אֲשֶׁ֣ר pulpit uh-SHER עָשׂ֣וּ of ah-SOO לַדָּבָר֒ wood, la-da-VAHR וַיַּֽעֲמֹ֣ד which va-ya-uh-MODE אֶצְל֡וֹ they ets-LOH מַתִּתְיָ֡ה had ma-teet-YA וְשֶׁ֡מַע made veh-SHEH-ma וַֽ֠עֲנָיָה for VA-uh-na-ya וְאֽוּרִיָּ֧ה the veh-oo-ree-YA וְחִלְקִיָּ֛ה purpose; veh-heel-kee-YA וּמַֽעֲשֵׂיָ֖ה and oo-ma-uh-say-YA עַל beside al יְמִינ֑וֹ him yeh-mee-NOH וּמִשְּׂמֹאל֗וֹ stood oo-mee-seh-moh-LOH פְּ֠דָיָה Mattithiah, PEH-da-ya וּמִֽישָׁאֵ֧ל and oo-mee-sha-ALE וּמַלְכִּיָּ֛ה Shema, oo-mahl-kee-YA וְחָשֻׁ֥ם and veh-ha-SHOOM וְחַשְׁבַּדָּ֖נָה Anaiah, veh-hahsh-ba-DA-na זְכַרְיָ֥ה and zeh-hahr-YA מְשֻׁלָּֽם׃ Urijah, meh-shoo-LAHM -
וַיִּפְתַּ֨ח Ezra va-yeef-TAHK עֶזְרָ֤א opened ez-RA הַסֵּ֙פֶר֙ the ha-SAY-FER לְעֵינֵ֣י book leh-ay-NAY כָל in hahl הָעָ֔ם the ha-AM כִּֽי sight kee מֵעַ֥ל of may-AL כָּל all kahl הָעָ֖ם the ha-AM הָיָ֑ה people; ha-YA וּכְפִתְח֖וֹ (for oo-heh-feet-HOH עָֽמְד֥וּ he ah-meh-DOO כָל was hahl הָעָֽם׃ above ha-AM -
וַיְבָ֣רֶךְ Ezra vai-VA-rek עֶזְרָ֔א blessed ez-RA אֶת et יְהוָ֥ה the yeh-VA הָֽאֱלֹהִ֖ים Lord, ha-ay-loh-HEEM הַגָּד֑וֹל the ha-ɡa-DOLE וַיַּֽעֲנ֨וּ great va-ya-uh-NOO כָל God. hahl הָעָ֜ם And ha-AM אָמֵ֤ן׀ all ah-MANE אָמֵן֙ the ah-MANE בְּמֹ֣עַל people beh-MOH-al יְדֵיהֶ֔ם answered, yeh-day-HEM וַיִּקְּד֧וּ Amen, va-yee-keh-DOO וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲוֻּ֛ Amen, va-yee-sheh-ta-huh-WOO לַֽיהוָ֖ה with lai-VA אַפַּ֥יִם lifting ah-PA-yeem אָֽרְצָה׃ up AH-reh-tsa -
וְיֵשׁ֡וּעַ Jeshua, veh-yay-SHOO-ah וּבָנִ֡י and oo-va-NEE וְשֵׁרֵ֥בְיָ֣ה׀ Bani, veh-shay-RAY-veh-YA יָמִ֡ין and ya-MEEN עַקּ֡וּב Sherebiah, AH-koov שַׁבְּתַ֣י׀ Jamin, sha-beh-TAI הֽוֹדִיָּ֡ה Akkub, hoh-dee-YA מַֽעֲשֵׂיָ֡ה Shabbethai, ma-uh-say-YA קְלִיטָ֣א Hodijah, keh-lee-TA עֲזַרְיָה֩ Maaseiah, uh-zahr-YA יֽוֹזָבָ֨ד Kelita, yoh-za-VAHD חָנָ֤ן Azariah, ha-NAHN פְּלָאיָה֙ Jozabad, peh-la-YA וְהַלְוִיִּ֔ם Hanan, veh-hahl-vee-YEEM מְבִינִ֥ים Pelaiah, meh-vee-NEEM אֶת and et הָעָ֖ם the ha-AM לַתּוֹרָ֑ה Levites, la-toh-RA וְהָעָ֖ם caused veh-ha-AM עַל al עָמְדָֽם׃ the ome-DAHM -
וַֽיִּקְרְא֥וּ they va-yeek-reh-OO בַסֵּ֛פֶר read va-SAY-fer בְּתוֹרַ֥ת in beh-toh-RAHT הָֽאֱלֹהִ֖ים the ha-ay-loh-HEEM מְפֹרָ֑שׁ book meh-foh-RAHSH וְשׂ֣וֹם in veh-SOME שֶׂ֔כֶל the SEH-hel וַיָּבִ֖ינוּ law va-ya-VEE-noo בַּמִּקְרָֽא׃ of ba-meek-RA -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר Nehemiah, va-YOH-mer נְחֶמְיָ֣ה which neh-hem-YA ה֣וּא is hoo הַתִּרְשָׁ֡תָא the ha-teer-SHA-ta וְעֶזְרָ֣א Tirshatha, veh-ez-RA הַכֹּהֵ֣ן׀ and ha-koh-HANE הַסֹּפֵ֡ר Ezra ha-soh-FARE וְהַלְוִיִּם֩ the veh-hahl-vee-YEEM הַמְּבִינִ֨ים priest ha-meh-vee-NEEM אֶת the et הָעָ֜ם scribe, ha-AM לְכָל and leh-HAHL הָעָ֗ם the ha-AM הַיּ֤וֹם Levites HA-yome קָדֹֽשׁ that ka-DOHSH הוּא֙ taught hoo לַֽיהוָ֣ה lai-VA אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם the ay-loh-hay-HEM אַל people, al תִּֽתְאַבְּל֖וּ said tee-teh-ah-beh-LOO וְאַל unto veh-AL תִּבְכּ֑וּ all teev-KOO כִּ֤י the kee בוֹכִים֙ people, voh-HEEM כָּל This kahl הָעָ֔ם day ha-AM כְּשָׁמְעָ֖ם is keh-shome-AM אֶת holy et דִּבְרֵ֥י unto deev-RAY הַתּוֹרָֽה׃ the ha-toh-RA -
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר he va-YOH-mer לָהֶ֡ם said la-HEM לְכוּ֩ unto leh-HOO אִכְל֨וּ them, eek-LOO מַשְׁמַנִּ֜ים Go mahsh-ma-NEEM וּשְׁת֣וּ your oo-sheh-TOO מַֽמְתַקִּ֗ים way, mahm-ta-KEEM וְשִׁלְח֤וּ eat veh-sheel-HOO מָנוֹת֙ the ma-NOTE לְאֵ֣ין fat, leh-ANE נָכ֣וֹן and na-HONE ל֔וֹ drink loh כִּֽי the kee קָד֥וֹשׁ sweet, ka-DOHSH הַיּ֖וֹם and HA-yome לַֽאֲדֹנֵ֑ינוּ send la-uh-doh-NAY-noo וְאַל portions veh-AL תֵּ֣עָצֵ֔בוּ unto TAY-ah-TSAY-voo כִּֽי them kee חֶדְוַ֥ת for hed-VAHT יְהוָ֖ה whom yeh-VA הִ֥יא nothing hee מָֽעֻזְּכֶֽם׃ is MA-oo-zeh-HEM -
וְהַלְוִיִּ֞ם the veh-hahl-vee-YEEM מַחְשִׁ֤ים Levites mahk-SHEEM לְכָל stilled leh-HAHL הָעָם֙ all ha-AM לֵאמֹ֣ר the lay-MORE הַ֔סּוּ people, HA-soo כִּ֥י saying, kee הַיּ֖וֹם Hold HA-yome קָדֹ֑שׁ your ka-DOHSH וְאַל peace, veh-AL תֵּֽעָצֵֽבוּ׃ for TAY-ah-TSAY-voo -
וַיֵּֽלְכ֨וּ all va-yay-leh-HOO כָל the hahl הָעָ֜ם people ha-AM לֶֽאֱכֹ֤ל went leh-ay-HOLE וְלִשְׁתּוֹת֙ their veh-leesh-TOTE וּלְשַׁלַּ֣ח way oo-leh-sha-LAHK מָנ֔וֹת to ma-NOTE וְלַֽעֲשׂ֖וֹת eat, veh-la-uh-SOTE שִׂמְחָ֣ה and seem-HA גְדוֹלָ֑ה to ɡeh-doh-LA כִּ֤י drink, kee הֵבִ֙ינוּ֙ and hay-VEE-NOO בַּדְּבָרִ֔ים to ba-deh-va-REEM אֲשֶׁ֥ר send uh-SHER הוֹדִ֖יעוּ portions, hoh-DEE-oo לָהֶֽם׃ and la-HEM -
וּבַיּ֣וֹם on oo-VA-yome הַשֵּׁנִ֡י the ha-shay-NEE נֶֽאֶסְפוּ֩ second neh-es-FOO רָאשֵׁ֨י day ra-SHAY הָֽאָב֜וֹת were ha-ah-VOTE לְכָל gathered leh-HAHL הָעָ֗ם together ha-AM הַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ the ha-koh-huh-NEEM וְהַלְוִיִּ֔ם chief veh-hahl-vee-YEEM אֶל of el עֶזְרָ֖א the ez-RA הַסֹּפֵ֑ר fathers ha-soh-FARE וּלְהַשְׂכִּ֖יל of oo-leh-hahs-KEEL אֶל all el דִּבְרֵ֥י the deev-RAY הַתּוֹרָֽה׃ people, ha-toh-RA -

וַיֵּֽצְא֣וּ the va-yay-tseh-OO הָעָם֮ people ha-AM וַיָּבִיאוּ֒ went va-ya-vee-OO וַיַּֽעֲשׂוּ֩ forth, va-ya-uh-SOO לָהֶ֨ם and la-HEM סֻכּ֜וֹת brought SOO-kote אִ֤ישׁ them, eesh עַל and al גַּגּוֹ֙ made ɡa-ɡOH וּבְחַצְרֹ֣תֵיהֶ֔ם themselves oo-veh-hahts-ROH-tay-HEM וּבְחַצְר֖וֹת booths, oo-veh-hahts-ROTE בֵּ֣ית every bate הָֽאֱלֹהִ֑ים one ha-ay-loh-HEEM וּבִרְחוֹב֙ upon oo-veer-HOVE שַׁ֣עַר the SHA-ar הַמַּ֔יִם roof ha-MA-yeem וּבִרְח֖וֹב of oo-veer-HOVE שַׁ֥עַר his SHA-ar אֶפְרָֽיִם׃ house, ef-RA-yeem -
