तब हनन्याह अरू जम्मै मानिसहरूको उपस्थितिमा जोरले कराए अनि भने, “त्यो यो हो जुन परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ ‘त्यसरी नै नबूकदनेस्सर बाबेलका राजाको जूवा म सबै जातिहरूको काँधबाट दुइ वर्ष भित्रमा भाँचि दिन्छु।”‘ त्यस पछि अगमवक्ता यर्मियाले परमप्रभुको मन्दिर छोडे अनि बाहिर गए।

“‘मैले सिदकियाह यहूदाका राजालाई भनें, “सिदकियाह तिमीले बाबेलका राजाको जुवा तिम्रो घिच्रोमा राख्नै पर्छ, यदि तिमीले बाबेलका राजा र उसको मानिसहरूका अस्वीकार गर्यौ भने तिमी बाँच्नेछौ।

त्यसपछि एदोम, मोआब, अम्मोन, सोर र सीदोमका राजाहरूकहाँ यी राजाहरूका दूतहरू जो यहूदाका राजा सिदकियाहलाई भेट्न यरूशलेममा आएका छन् तिमीहरूको माध्यम यी समाचार पठाऊ।
