ഞാൻ ദമ്മേശെക്കിന്റെ ഓടാമ്പൽ തകർത്തു, ആവെൻ താഴ്വരയിൽനിന്നു നിവാസിയെയും ഏദെൻ ഗൃഹത്തിൽനിന്നു ചെങ്കോൽ പിടിക്കുന്നവനെയും ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും; അരാമ്യർ ബദ്ധന്മാരായി കീറിലേക്കു പോകേണ്ടിവരും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD.

And I will break the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the valley of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden; and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith Jehovah.

and cut off וְהִכְרַתִּ֤י kārat ka-RAHT
the inhabitant יוֹשֵׁב֙ yāšab ya-SHAHV
from the plain מִבִּקְעַת biqʿâ beek-AH
of Aven, אָ֔וֶן ʾāwen ah-VEN
and him that holdeth וְתוֹמֵ֥ךְ tāmak ta-MAHK
the sceptre שֵׁ֖בֶט šēbeṭ shay-VET
from the house מִבֵּ֣ית bayit ba-YEET
of Eden: עֶ֑דֶן ʿēden ay-DEN
shall go into captivity וְגָל֧וּ gālâ ɡa-LA
and the people עַם ʿam am
of Syria אֲרָ֛ם ʾărām uh-RAHM
unto Kir, קִ֖ירָה qîr keer
