യോശീയാരാജാവിന്റെ പതിനെട്ടാം ആണ്ടിൽ രാജാവു മെശുല്ലാമിന്റെ മകനായ അസല്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ശാഫാൻ എന്ന രായസക്കാരനെ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലേക്കു അയച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
