നെബൂഖദ് നേസർ യെരൂശലേമിലെ മന്ദിരത്തിൽനിന്നു എടുത്തു ബാബേലിലെ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോയി വെച്ചിരുന്ന ദൈവാലയംവക പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും കൊണ്ടുള്ള ഉപകരണങ്ങളെ കോരെശ് രാജാവു ബാബേലിലെ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽനിന്നു എടുപ്പിച്ചു താൻ നിയമിച്ചിരുന്ന ശേശ്ബസ്സർ എന്നു പേരുള്ള ദേശാധിപതിക്കു ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു അവനോടു:
