Exodus 2:22
അവൾ ഒരു മകനെ പ്രസവിച്ചു: ഞാൻ അന്യദേശത്തു പരദേശി ആയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു അവന്നു ഗേർശോം എന്നു പേരിട്ടു.

And she bare	וַתֵּ֣לֶד	wattēled	va-TAY-led
him a son,	בֵּ֔ן	bēn	bane
called he and	וַיִּקְרָ֥א	wayyiqrāʾ	va-yeek-RA
	אֶת	ʾet	et
his name	שְׁמ֖וֹ	šĕmô	sheh-MOH
Gershom:	גֵּֽרְשֹׁ֑ם	gērĕšōm	ɡay-reh-SHOME
for	כִּ֣י	kî	kee
he said,	אָמַ֔ר	ʾāmar	ah-MAHR
I have been	גֵּ֣ר	gēr	ɡare
stranger a	הָיִ֔יתִי	hāyîtî	ha-YEE-tee
in a strange	בְּאֶ֖רֶץ	bĕʾereṣ	beh-EH-rets
land.	נָכְרִיָּֽה׃	nokriyyâ	noke-ree-YA
