Deuteronomy 24:14
നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരിലോ നിന്റെ ദേശത്തു നിന്റെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലുള്ള പരദേശികളിലോ ദരിദ്രനും അഗതിയുമായ കൂലിക്കാരനെ നീ പീഡിപ്പിക്കരുതു.

| an hired servant | שָׂכִ֖יר | śākîr | sa-HEER |
| poor is that | עָנִ֣י | ʿānî | ah-NEE |
| and needy, | וְאֶבְי֑וֹן | wĕʾebyôn | veh-ev-YONE |
| brethren, thy of be he whether | מֵֽאַחֶ֕יךָ | mēʾaḥêkā | may-ah-HAY-ha |
| or | א֧וֹ | ʾô | oh |
| of thy strangers | מִגֵּֽרְךָ֛ | miggērĕkā | mee-ɡay-reh-HA |
| that | אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| are in thy land | בְּאַרְצְךָ֖ | bĕʾarṣĕkā | beh-ar-tseh-HA |
| within thy gates: | בִּשְׁעָרֶֽיךָ׃ | bišʿārêkā | beesh-ah-RAY-ha |
