അവൻ മുപ്പതുപേരിൽ മാനമേറിയവനായിരുന്നു എങ്കിലും മറ്റെ മൂന്നുപേരോളം വരികയില്ല. ദാവീദ് അവനെ അകമ്പടിനായകനാക്കി.
