Proverbs 13 in Kannada

1 ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾದ ಮಗನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಬೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸು ವವನು ಗದರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

2 ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಫಲದಿಂದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನು ವನು; ದೋಷಿಗಳ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನು ವದು.

3 ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವವನು ಜೀವ ವನ್ನು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಾನೆ; ತನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅಗಲವಾಗಿ ತೆರೆಯುವವನಿಗೆ ನಾಶನವಾಗುವದು.

4 ಸೋಮಾ ರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರೂ ಏನೂ ಹೊಂದುವ ದಿಲ್ಲ; ಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯುಳ್ಳವನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಪುಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗು ವದು.

5 ನೀತಿವಂತನು ಸುಳ್ಳನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ದುಷ್ಟನು ಹೇಸಿಗೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅವಮಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗು ವನು.

6 ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಂತನನ್ನು ನೀತಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಪಾಡುತ್ತದೆ; ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವು ಪಾಪಿಯನ್ನು ಕೆಡವುವದು.

7 ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನೇ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಇದ್ದಾನೆ; ಅವನಿಗೆ ಏನೂ ಇರು ವದಿಲ್ಲ. ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಡವನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ; ಅವನಿಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಿದೆ.

8 ಒಬ್ಬನ ಪ್ರಾಣದ ವಿಮೋಚನೆಯು ಅವನ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವೇ; ಬಡವನು ಗದರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

9 ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಬೆಳಕು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ದುಷ್ಟರ ದೀಪವು ಆರಿ ಹೋಗುವದು.

10 ಗರ್ವದಿಂದ ಕಲಹ ಮಾತ್ರ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ; ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಸಲಹೆ ಹೊಂದಿದವರಿಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವಿದೆ.

11 ವ್ಯರ್ಥತ್ವದಿಂದ ಹೊಂದಿದ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಯಾಗುವದು; ಪ್ರಯಾಸದಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿಸುವವನು ವೃದ್ಧಿ ಗೊಳ್ಳುವನು.

12 ತಡವಾದ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ; ಆಶೆಯು ಸಫಲವಾದರೆ ಅದು ಜೀವಕರವಾದ ವೃಕ್ಷವು.

13 ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲಂಘಿಸುವ ವನು ನಾಶವಾಗುವನು; ಆಜ್ಞೆಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವನು ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ಹೊಂದುವನು.

14 ಮರಣದ ಪಾಶಗ ಳಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವಂತರ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಯು ಜೀವದ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

15 ಸುವಿವೇಕವು ದಯಾ ಸ್ಪದವು; ದೋಷಕರ ಮಾರ್ಗವು ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿದೆ.

16 ಪ್ರತಿ ಜಾಣನು ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ವರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವಿವೇಕಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಮೂಢತ್ವವನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆಡವು ತ್ತಾನೆ.

17 ದುಷ್ಟ ಸೇವಕನು ಕೇಡಿಗೆ ಬೀಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಾದ ರಾಯಭಾರಿಯು ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಾಯಕ.

18 ಬೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುವವನಿಗೆ ಬಡತನವೂ ಅವಮಾನವೂ ಬರುವವು.; ಗದರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸು ವವನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಹೊಂದುವನು.

19 ಇಷ್ಟ ಸಿದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಹಿಯಾಗಿದೆ; ಕೆಟ್ಟತನದಿಂದ ತೊಲಗುವದು ಅವಿವೇಕಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.

20 ಜ್ಞಾನವಂತರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನಡೆಯುವವನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾಗಿರುವನು. ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಹೀನರ ಜೊತೆಗಾರನು ನಾಶವಾಗುವನು.

21 ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವವು ಪಾಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟುತ್ತದೆ; ನೀತಿ ವಂತರಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದು ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವಾಗುವದು.

22 ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನು ಮೊಮ್ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಡುವನು; ಪಾಪಿಯ ಸೊತ್ತು ನೀತಿ ವಂತರಿಗೆ ಇಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ.

23 ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಸಾಗುವಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಆಹಾರವು ಸಿಕ್ಕುತ್ತದೆ; ನ್ಯಾಯ ತೀರ್ಪಿನ ಕೊರತೆಯಿಂದ ಹಾಳಾಗುವದು ಉಂಟು.

24 ಬೆತ್ತವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯದವನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹಗೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸುವವನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

25 ತನಗೆ ತೃಪ್ತಿಯಾಗುವ ವರೆಗೆ ನೀತಿವಂತನು ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ; ದುಷ್ಟರ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ಕೊರತೆಯಾಗುವದು.

1 A wise son heareth his father’s instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.

2 A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall eat violence.

3 He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.

4 The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.

5 A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.

6 Righteousness keepeth him that is upright in the way: but wickedness overthroweth the sinner.

7 There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.

8 The ransom of a man’s life are his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke.

9 The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.

10 Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.

11 Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.

12 Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.

13 Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.

14 The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.

15 Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.

16 Every prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open his folly.

17 A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health.

18 Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.

19 The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil.

20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

21 Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed.

22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

23 Much food is in the tillage of the poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment.

24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

25 The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.
