Isaiah 31:3
ಐಗು ಪ್ತ್ಯರು ಮನುಷ್ಯಮಾತ್ರದವರೇ, ದೇವರಲ್ಲ; ಅವರ ಅಶ್ವಗಳು ಆತ್ಮವಲ್ಲ, ಮಾಂಸಮಯವೇ; ಹೀಗಿರುವದ ರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಚಾಚುವಾಗ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿ ದವನು ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾಯಪಡೆದವನೂ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗು ವನು, ಅಂತೂ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಲಯವಾಗುವರು.

ಜಜ್ಜಿದ ದಂಡಿಗೆ ಸಮಾನವಾದ ಐಗುಪ್ತವೆಂಬ ಕೋಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಭರವಸವಿಟ್ಟಿರುತ್ತಿಯಷ್ಟೆ; ಒಬ್ಬನು ಅಂತ ಕೋಲನ್ನು ಊರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಾದರೆ ಅದು ಅವನ ಕೈಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ತಿವಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಅರಸ ನಾದ ಫರೋಹನು ತನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ.
Isaiah 30:7
