Genesis 38:22
ಆಗ ಅವನು ಯೆಹೂದನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬಂದು--ಆಕೆಯು ನನಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು--ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಳೆಯು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

| find | מְצָאתִ֑יהָ | mĕṣāʾtîhā | meh-tsa-TEE-ha |
| her; and also | וְגַ֨ם | wĕgam | veh-ɡAHM |
| men the | אַנְשֵׁ֤י | ʾanšê | an-SHAY |
| of the place | הַמָּקוֹם֙ | hammāqôm | ha-ma-KOME |
| said, | אָֽמְר֔וּ | ʾāmĕrû | ah-meh-ROO |
| was there that | לֹֽא | lōʾ | loh |
| no | הָיְתָ֥ה | hāytâ | hai-TA |
| harlot | בָזֶ֖ה | bāze | va-ZEH |
| in this | קְדֵשָֽׁה׃ | qĕdēšâ | keh-day-SHA |
