Psalm 62
1 सचमुच मैं चुपचाप होकर परमेरश्वर की ओर मन लगाए हूं; मेरा उद्धार उसी से होता है।
2 सचमुच वही, मेरी चट्टान और मेरा उद्धार है, वह मेरा गढ़ है; मैं बहुत न डिगूंगा॥
3 तुम कब तक एक पुरूष पर धावा करते रहोगे, कि सब मिलकर उसका घात करो? वह तो झुकी हुई भीत वा गिरते हुए बाड़े के समान है।
4 सचमुच वे उसको, उसके ऊंचे पद से गिराने की सम्मति करते हैं; वे झूठ से प्रसन्न रहते हैं। मुंह से तो वे आशीर्वाद देते पर मन में कोसते हैं॥
5 हे मेरे मन, परमेश्वर के साम्हने चुपचाप रह, क्योंकि मेरी आशा उसी से है।
6 सचमुच वही मेरी चट्टान, और मेरा उद्धार है, वह मेरा गढ़ है; इसलिये मैं न डिगूंगा।
7 मेरा उद्धार और मेरी महिमा का आधार परमेश्वर है; मेरी दृढ़ चट्टान, और मेरा शरणस्थान परमेश्वर है।
8 हे लोगो, हर समय उस पर भरोसा रखो; उससे अपने अपने मन की बातें खोलकर कहो; परमेश्वर हमारा शरणस्थान है।
9 सचमुच नीच लोग तो अस्थाई, और बड़े लोग मिथ्या ही हैं; तौल में वे हलके निकलते हैं; वे सब के सब सांस से भी हलके हैं।
10 अन्धेर करने पर भरोसा मत रखो, और लूट पाट करने पर मत फूलो; चाहे धन सम्पति बढ़े, तौभी उस पर मन न लगाना॥
11 परमेश्वर ने एक बार कहा है; और दो बार मैं ने यह सुना है: कि सामर्थ्य परमेश्वर का है।
12 और हे प्रभु, करूणा भी तेरी है। क्योंकि तू एक एक जन को उसके काम के अनुसार फल देता है॥

2 Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
3 He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
4 How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.
5 They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.
6 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
7 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
8 In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
9 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
10 Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.
11 Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
12 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
13 Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
