Romans 4:12
જે લોકોની સુન્નત કરવામાં આવી છે તેમનો પૂર્વજ પણ ઈબ્રાહિમ જ છે. માત્ર તેઓની સુન્નતને કારણે ઈબ્રાહિમને પિતાનું સ્થાન મળ્યું નથી. આપણા પૂર્વજ ઈબ્રાહિમ સુન્નત પહેલા જે વિશ્વાસ ઘરાવતો હતો, એવું વિશ્વાસભર્યુ જીવન જો તેઓ જીવે તો જ ઈબ્રાહિમ તેમનો પિતા ગણાય.
