Romans 13:9
હું આમ શા માટે કહું છું? કારણ કે નિમયશાસ્ત્ર કહે છે, “તારે વ્યભિચારનું પાપ ન કરવું જોઈએ, ખૂન ન કરવું, કશાયની ચોરી ન કરાય, બીજા લોકોની વસ્તુઓ મેળવી લેવાની ઈચ્છા ન કરાય.”આ અને બીજી બધી આજ્ઞાઓ કે આદેશો ખરેખર તો એક જ નિયમમાં સમાઈ જાય છે: “જે રીતે તમે તમારી જાતને પ્રેમ કરો છો, એ જ રીતે પોતાના પડોશી પર પણ પ્રેમ કરો.”
