મૂસા અને યાજક એલઆઝાર ‘હજાર-હજાર’ ના અને સોસોના સેનાનાયકો પાસેથી સોનું સ્વીકારીને મુલાકાત મંડપમાં લઈ આવ્યા, ઇસ્રાએલ પ્રજાના સ્મરણાર્થે યહોવા સમક્ષ તે રાખવામાં આવ્યું, જેથી યહોવા ઇસ્રાએલનું રક્ષણ કરે.
