2 Kings 13:19
તેથી દેવના માણસ એલિશા તેના પર ગુસ્સે થયા અને રાજાને કહ્યું, “તારે જમીનમાં પાંચ કે છ બાણ મારવા જોઈતા હતાં. જો એમ કર્યું હોત તો અરામીઓનો સંપૂર્ણ નાશ થઈ જાય ત્યાં સુધી તેં તેઓને પરાજય આપ્યો હોત, હવે તું અરામને ફકત ત્રણ જ વાર હરાવી શકીશ.”

| Thou shouldest have smitten | לְהַכּ֨וֹת | lĕhakkôt | leh-HA-kote |
| five | חָמֵ֤שׁ | ḥāmēš | ha-MAYSH |
| or | אוֹ | ʾô | oh |
| six | שֵׁשׁ֙ | šēš | shaysh |
| times; | פְּעָמִ֔ים | pĕʿāmîm | peh-ah-MEEM |
| then | אָ֛ז | ʾāz | az |
| smitten thou hadst | הִכִּ֥יתָ | hikkîtā | hee-KEE-ta |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| Syria | אֲרָ֖ם | ʾărām | uh-RAHM |
| till | עַד | ʿad | ad |
| thou hadst consumed | כַּלֵּ֑ה | kallē | ka-LAY |
| now whereas it: | וְעַתָּ֕ה | wĕʿattâ | veh-ah-TA |
| thou shalt smite | שָׁלֹ֥שׁ | šālōš | sha-LOHSH |
| פְּעָמִ֖ים | pĕʿāmîm | peh-ah-MEEM | |
| Syria | תַּכֶּ֥ה | takke | ta-KEH |
| but thrice. | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| אֲרָֽם׃ | ʾărām | uh-RAHM |
