1 Samuel 11:7
તેણે બળદની એક જોડ લઈને તેમને કાપી કાપીને ટૂકડા કરી નાખ્યા. અને એ ટૂકડા સાથે સમગ્ર ઇસ્રાએલમાં કાસદો મોકલી તેણે એવો સંદેશો કહેવડાવ્યો કે, જે કોઈ શાઉલ તથા શમુએલની પાછળ નહિ આવે તેના બળદના આ હાલ થશે.”એટલે લોકોને યહોવાનો ભય લાગ્યો, ને એક મતે તેઓ સૌ નીકળી પડયા.

| the coasts | גְּב֣וּל | gĕbûl | ɡeh-VOOL |
| of Israel | יִשְׂרָאֵל֮ | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| hands the by | בְּיַ֣ד | bĕyad | beh-YAHD |
| of messengers, | הַמַּלְאָכִ֣ים׀ | hammalʾākîm | ha-mahl-ah-HEEM |
| saying, | לֵאמֹר֒ | lēʾmōr | lay-MORE |
| Whosoever | אֲשֶׁר֩ | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| cometh not forth | אֵינֶ֨נּוּ | ʾênennû | ay-NEH-noo |
| יֹצֵ֜א | yōṣēʾ | yoh-TSAY | |
| after | אַֽחֲרֵ֤י | ʾaḥărê | ah-huh-RAY |
| Saul | שָׁאוּל֙ | šāʾûl | sha-OOL |
| and after | וְאַחַ֣ר | wĕʾaḥar | veh-ah-HAHR |
| Samuel, | שְׁמוּאֵ֔ל | šĕmûʾēl | sheh-moo-ALE |
| so | כֹּ֥ה | kō | koh |
| done be it shall | יֵֽעָשֶׂ֖ה | yēʿāśe | yay-ah-SEH |
