அப்பொழுது ஈசாக்கு அவர்களை நோக்கி: ஏன் என்னிடத்தில் வந்தீர்கள்? நீங்கள் என்னைப் பகைத்து, என்னை உங்களிடத்தில் இராதபடிக்குத் துரத்திவிட்டீர்களே என்றான்.

அந்தச் சபைக்கு முன்பாகப் போக்கும் வரத்துமாக இருக்கும்படி, அவர்களைப் போகவும் வரவும் செய்யும்படி, மனிதர்களான எல்லோருடைய ஆவிகளுக்கும் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் ஒரு வாலிபனை அவர்கள்மேல் அதிகாரியாக ஏற்படுத்தவேண்டும் என்றான்.

இந்த ஜனங்களை இந்த நாட்டிலிருந்து அழைத்துப் போய் புதிய நாட்டில் சேர்க்கும் புதிய தலைவனை கர்த்தர் தேர்ந்தெடுக்க வேண்டும் என்று வேண்டிள்கிறேன். அதற்குப் பின்பு இந்த ஜனங்கள் மேய்ப்பன் இல்லாத ஆடுகளைப் போன்று ஆகமாட்டார்கள்” என்றான்.
