இதோ, நான் தண்ணீர்த் துரவண்டையிலே நிற்கிறேன், தண்ணீர் மொள்ள வரப்போகிற கன்னிகையை நான் நோக்கி: உன் குடத்திலிருக்கிற தண்ணீரில் கொஞ்சம் எனக்குக் குடிக்கத் தரவேண்டும் என்று கேட்கும்போது:
