Nehemiah 6:9
For they all made us afraid, saying, Their hands shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done. Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands.

அந்த வேலை நடைபெறாமலிருக்க, எங்கள் கைகள் சோர்ந்துபோகும் என்று சொல்லி, அவர்கள் எல்லோரும் எங்களைப் பயமுறுத்தப்பார்த்தார்கள். ஆதலால் தேவனே, நீர் என்னுடைய கைகளைத் பலப்படுத்தியருளும்.

எங்கள் பகைவர்கள் எங்களைப் பயமுறுத்தவே முயன்றனர். அவர்கள் தங்களுக்குள், “யூதர்கள் பயப்படுவார்கள். வேலைச் செய்துகொண்டிருப்பதில் சோர்வு அடைவார்கள். பிறகு சுவர் வேலை முடியாது” என்று நினைத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள். ஆனால் நான், “தேவனே என்னைப் பலப்படுத்தும்” என ஜெபம் செய்தேன்.
