Jeremiah 43:2
Then spoke Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying unto Jeremiah, You speak falsely: the LORD our God has not sent you to say, Go not into Egypt to sojourn there:

ஓசாயாவின் மகனாகிய அசரியாவும் கரேயாவின் மகனான யோகனானும் மற்றும் சிலரும் இறுமாப்போடும் பிடிவாதமானவர்களாகவும் இருந்தனர். அவர்கள் எரேமியாவிடம் கோபம் கொண்டனர். அவர்கள் எரேமியாவிடம், “எரேமியா, நீ பொய் சொல்லுகிறாய். எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன்னை, ‘நீங்கள் எகிப்துக்கு வாழ போகவேண்டாம்’ என்று எங்களிடம் சொல்ல அனுப்பவில்லை.
