Isaiah 66:2
For all those things has mine hand made, and all those things have been, says the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at my word.

என்னுடைய கரம் இவைகளையெல்லாம் படைத்ததினால் இவைகளெல்லாம் உண்டானது என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்கிறார்; ஆனாலும் சிறுமைப்பட்டு, ஆவியில் நொறுங்குண்டு, என் வசனத்திற்கு நடுங்குகிறவனையே நோக்கிப்பார்ப்பேன்.

நானே எனக்கு இவற்றையெல்லாம் அமைத்துக்கொள்ள வேண்டும். அனைத்தும் இங்கே உள்ளன. ஏனென்றால், நான் இவற்றைப் படைத்தேன்.” கர்த்தர்தாமே இவற்றைக் கூறினார். “எனக்கு சொல், நான் எந்த ஜனங்களைப் பாதுகாக்கவேண்டும். ஏழைகளையும், துயரப்படுபவர்களையும் பாதுகாக்கிறேன். எளியவர்களுக்காகவும், துயரப்படுபவர்களுக்காகவும் பொறுப்பேற்கிறேன். எனது வார்த்தைகளுக்குக் கட்டுப்படுகிற ஜனங்களை நான் பாதுகாக்கிறேன்.
