Genesis 31:40
Thus I was; in the day the drought consumed me, and the frost by night; and my sleep departed from mine eyes.

பகலிலே வெயிலும் இரவிலே குளிரும் என்னைத் தாக்கியது; தூக்கம் என் கண்களுக்குத் தூரமாயிருந்தது; இந்த விதமாகப் பாடுபட்டேன்.

பகல் பொழுது என் பலத்தை எடுத்துக்கொண்டது. இரவு குளிர் என் கண்களிலிருந்து உறக்கத்தைத் திருடிக்கொண்டது.

பகலிலே வெயிலும் இரவிலே குளிரும் என்னைப் பட்சித்தது; நித்திரை என் கண்களுக்குத் தூரமாயிருந்தது; இவ்விதமாய்ப் பாடுபட்டேன்.
Thus I was; in the day the drought consumed me, and the frost by night; and my sleep departed from mine eyes.
