2 Chronicles 34:28
Behold, I will gather you to your fathers, and you shall be gathered to your grave in peace, neither shall yours eyes see all the evil that I will bring upon this place, and upon the inhabitants of the same. So they brought the king word again.

இதோ, நான் இந்த இடத்தின்மேலும் இதன் மக்களின்மேலும் வரச்செய்யும் எல்லாப் பொல்லாப்பையும் உன் கண்கள் காணாதபடிக்கு, நீ சமாதானத்தோடு உன் கல்லறையில் சேர்க்கப்பட நான் உன்னை உன் முன்னோர்களுக்கு அருகில் சேரச்செய்வேன் என்கிறார் என்று சொன்னாள்; அவர்கள் ராஜாவுக்கு மறுசெய்தி கொண்டுபோனார்கள்.

உன் முற்பிதாக்களுடன் இருப்பதற்கு நான் உன்னை அழைத்துச் செல்வேன். நீ உனது கல்லறைக்கு சமாதானத்தோடு போவாய். அதனால் நான் இந்த இடத்துக்கும், இங்குள்ள ஜனங்களுக்கும் கொடுக்கப்போகும் பயங்கரமான துன்பங்களை நீ காணமாட்டாய்’” என்றார். இல்க்கியாவும், அரசனின் வேலைக்காரர்களும் இந்த செய்தியை யோசியா அரசனிடம் கொண்டுவந்தனர்.
