Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

உடனே படைத்தலைவன் அதிகாரிகளோடுகூடப்போய், மக்கள் கல்லெறிவார்களென்று பயந்ததினால், பலவந்தம்பண்ணாமல் அவர்களை அழைத்துக்கொண்டுவந்தான்.

காவலர் தலைவனும், காவலரும் வெளியே வந்து அப்போஸ்தலரை அழைத்துச் சென்றனர். மக்களுக்குப் பயந்ததால் வீரர்கள் தங்கள் வலிமையைப் பயன்படுத்தவில்லை. மக்கள் சினம் கொண்டு கற்களாலெறிந்து அவர்களைக் கொல்லக்கூடுமென்று வீரர்கள் பயந்தனர்.
