Obadiah 1:7
All the men of your confederacy have brought you even to the border: the men that were at peace with you have deceived you, and prevailed against you; that they eat your bread have laid a wound under you: there is none understanding in him.

உன்னுடன் உடன்படிக்கை செய்த எல்லா மனிதர்களும் உன்னை எல்லைவரை துரத்திவிட்டார்கள்; உன்னுடன் சமாதானமாயிருந்த மனிதர்கள் உன்னை ஏமாற்றி, உன்னை மேற்கொண்டார்கள்; உன் அப்பத்தைச் சாப்பிட்டவர்கள் உனக்குக் கீழே கண்ணிவைத்தார்கள். அவனுக்கு உணர்வில்லை.

உன் நண்பர்களான அனைத்து ஜனங்களும் நாட்டை விட்டு வெளியேற உன்னை வற்புறுத்துவார்கள். உன்னோடு சமாதானமாக உள்ள ஜனங்கள் (நல்ல நண்பர்கள்) தந்திரம் செய்து உன்னைத் தோற்கடிப்பார்கள். உன் நண்பர்கள் உனக்காக ஒரு கண்ணியைத் திட்டமிடுகிறார்கள். ‘அவன் ஒன்றையும் எதிர்பார்க்கவில்லை’” என்று அவர்கள் சொல்லுகிறார்கள்.
