But woe unto you, Pharisees! for all of you tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought all of you to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

பரிசேயர்களே, உங்களுக்கு ஐயோ, நீங்கள் புதினா, மறிக்கொழுந்து ஆகிய எல்லாவித பூண்டுகளிலும் தசமபாகம் கொடுத்து, நியாயத்தையும் தேவ அன்பையும் விட்டுவிடுகிறீர்கள்; இவைகளையும் செய்யவேண்டும், அவைகளையும் விட்டுவிடாமல் இருக்கவேண்டும்.
