For the mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none can pass through them; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled; they are gone.

நான் (எரேமியா) மலைகளுக்காக உரக்க அழுவேன். காலியான வயல்களுக்காக நான் ஒப்பாரிப் பாடலைப் பாடுவேன். ஏனென்றால், உயிர் வாழ்வன அனைத்தும் எடுக்கப்பட்டுவிடும். இப்பொழுது எவரும் அங்கு பயணம் செய்யமாட்டார்கள். ஆடுமாடுகளின் சத்தத்தை அங்கே கேட்கமுடியாது. பறவைகள் பறந்து போயிருக்கின்றன. மிருகங்கள் போய்விட்டன.
