Genesis 45:1
Then Joseph could not refrain himself before all them that stood by him; and he cried, Cause every man to go out from me. And there stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known unto his brethren.

அப்பொழுது யோசேப்பு தன் அருகே நின்ற எல்லா வேலைக்காரர்களுக்கும் முன்பாகத் தன்னை அடக்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கமுடியாமல்: அனைவரையும் என்னைவிட்டு வெளியே போகச்செய்யுங்கள் என்று கட்டளையிட்டான். யோசேப்பு தன் சகோதரர்களுக்குத் தன்னை வெளிப்படுத்தும்போது, ஒருவரும் அவன் அருகில் நிற்கவில்லை.

யோசேப்பு அதிக நேரம் தன்னைக் கட்டுப்படுத்திக்கொள்ள முடியவில்லை. அங்கிருந்தவர்களின் முன்னால் அவன் உள்ளம் உடைந்து கண்ணீர் சிந்தினான். யோசேப்பு “எல்லோரையும் வெளியே போகச்சொல்” என்று கட்டளையிட்டான். அனைவரும் வெளியேறினர். அச்சகோதரர்கள் மட்டுமே அங்கிருந்தார்கள். பிறகு அவன் தன்னை யாரென்று சொன்னான்.
