Behold, he is hid now in some pit, or in some other place: and it will come to pass, when some of them be overthrown at the first, that whosoever hears it will say, There is a slaughter among the people that follow Absalom.

இதோ, அவர் இப்பொழுது ஒரு கெபியிலாவது, வேறு எந்த இடத்திலாவது ஒளிந்திருப்பார்; ஆரம்பத்திலே நம்முடையவர்களில் சிலர் தாக்கப்பட்டார்கள் என்றால், அதைக் கேட்கிற யாவரும் அப்சலோமுக்குப் பின்செல்லுகிற வீரர்கள் கொலை செய்யப்பட்டார்கள் என்பார்கள்.
