2 Kings 14:10
You have indeed smitten Edom, and yours heart has lifted you up: glory of this, and tarry at home: for why should you meddle to your hurt, that you should fall, even you, and Judah with you?

நீ ஏதோமியர்களை முறியடித்ததால் உன் இருதயம் உன்னைக் கர்வமடையச்செய்தது; நீ பெருமை பாராட்டிக்கொண்டு உன் வீட்டிலே இரு; நீயும் உன்னோடேகூட யூதாவும் விழும்படி, பொல்லாப்பை ஏன் வருவித்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும் என்று சொல்லச்சொன்னான்.

நீ ஏதோமியரைத் தோற்கடித்ததால் உன் மனம் உன்னைக் கர்வம் கொள்ளச்செய்தது. நீ பெருமை பாராட்டிக்கொண்டு உன் வீட்டிலேயே இரு! நீ இதனைச் செய்தால், நீ விழுவாய், யூதாவும் உன்னோடு விழும்” என்றான்.
