நான் இப்போது இந்த வாக்குறுதியை அளிக்கிறேன். தேவன் சொன்ன காரியங்கள் நிறைவேறும் என நான் உறுதியாக நம்புகிறேன். சவுலின் குடும்பத்தாரிடமிருந்து அரசை எடுத்து தாவீதின் குடும்பத்தாருக்குக் கொடுப்பதாக கர்த்தர் கூறினார். கர்த்தர் தாவீதை இஸ்ரவேலுக்கும் யூதாவுக்கும் அரசனாக்குவார். தாணிலிருந்து பெயெர்செபா வரைக்கும் அவன் அரசாளுவான். இது நிகழும்படியாக நான் செய்யாவிட்டால் தேவன் எனக்குத் தீமை செய்வார் என்று நான் எதிர்பார்க்கிறேன்!” என்றான்.
