Jeremiah 3:9
ব্যভিচারিতায লিপ্ত হয়ে যিহূদাও তার দেশকে কলঙ্কিত করল| সে কাঠের এবং পাথরের মূর্ত্তিসমূহ পূজো করে ব্যভিচার করেছিল|

| lightness the through | מִקֹּ֣ל | miqqōl | mee-KOLE |
| of her whoredom, | זְנוּתָ֔הּ | zĕnûtāh | zeh-noo-TA |
| defiled she that | וַתֶּחֱנַ֖ף | watteḥĕnap | va-teh-hay-NAHF |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the land, | הָאָ֑רֶץ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
| adultery committed and | וַתִּנְאַ֥ף | wattinʾap | va-teen-AF |
| with | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| stones | הָאֶ֖בֶן | hāʾeben | ha-EH-ven |
| and with | וְאֶת | wĕʾet | veh-ET |
