எதினால் என்று கர்த்தர் அதைக் கேட்டார். அப்பொழுது அது: நான் போய், அவனுடைய தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் எல்லாரின் வாயிலும் பொய்யின் ஆவியாய் இருப்பேன் என்றது. அதற்கு அவர்: நீ அவனுக்குப் போதனைசெய்து அப்படி நடக்கப்பண்ணுவாய்; போய் அப்படிச் செய் என்றார்.

கர்த்தர், ‘எவ்வாறு செய்வாய்?’ என்று கேட்டார். அதற்கு அவது, ‘நான் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளைக் குழப்பி பொய் சொல்லுமாறு செய்வேன். அவர்கள் பேசுவதெல்லாம் பொய்’ என்றது. உடனே அவர், ‘போய் ஆகாபை ஏமாற்று. நீ வெற்றிபெறுவாய்’ என்றார்” என்றான்.
