அப்பொழுது எருசலேமிலும் யூதாவிலுமுள்ள எல்லாப் பானைகளும் சேனைகளின் கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தமாயிருக்கும்; பலியிடுகிற யாவரும் வந்து அவைகளில் எடுத்து, அவைகளில் சமைப்பார்கள்; அந்நாள்முதல் சேனைகளுடைய கர்த்தரின் ஆலயத்திலே யாதொரு கானானியனும் இருப்பதில்லை.

எங்களுடைய பாவங்களை எங்களுக்கு மன்னியும்; நாங்களும் எங்களிடம் கடன்பட்ட எவனுக்கும் மன்னிக்கிறோமே; எங்களைச் சோதனைக்குட்படப்பண்ணாமல், தீமையிலிருந்து எங்களை இரட்சித்துக்கொள்ளும், என்று சொல்லுங்கள் என்றார்.
