1 మరియు యెహోవా మోషే అహరోనులకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.
2 ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరు తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబముల టెక్కెములను పట్టుకొని తమ తమ ధ్వజము నొద్ద దిగవలెను, వారు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారమున కెదురుగా దానిచుట్టు దిగవలెను.
3 సూర్యుడు ఉదయించు తూర్పు దిక్కున యూదా పాళెపు ధ్వజము గలవారు తమ తమ సేనలచొప్పున దిగవలెను. అమీ్మనాదాబు కుమారుడైన నయస్సోను యూదా కుమారులకు ప్రధానుడు.
4 అతని సేన, అనగా అతని వారిలో లెక్కింపబడిన పురుషులు డెబ్బది నాలుగువేల ఆరువందలమంది.
5 అతని సమీపమున ఇశ్శాఖారు గోత్రికులు దిగవలెను. సూయారు కుమారు డైన నెతనేలు ఇశ్శాఖారు కుమారులకు ప్రధానుడు.
6 అతని సేన, అనగా అతనివారిలో లెక్కింపబడిన పురుషులు ఏబది నాలుగు వేల నాలుగువందలమంది.
7 అతని సమీపమున జెబూలూనుగోత్రికులుండవలెను. హేలోను కుమారుడైన ఏలీయాబు జెబూలూనీయులకు ప్రధానుడు.
8 అతని సేన, అనగా అతనివారిలో లెక్కింపబడినవారు ఏబదియేడువేల నాలుగు వందలమంది.
9 యూదా పాళెములో లెక్కింప బడిన వారందరు వారి సేనలచొప్పున లక్షయెనుబది యారు వేల నాలుగువందలమంది. వారు ముందర సాగి నడవవలెను.
10 రూబేను పాళెపు ధ్వజము వారి సేనలచొప్పున దక్షిణ దిక్కున ఉండవలెను. షెదేయూరు కుమారుడైన ఏలీసూరు రూబేను కుమారులకు ప్రధానుడు.
11 అతని సేన, అనగా అతనివారిలో లెక్కింపబడినవారు నలుబది యారువేల ఐదువందలమంది.
12 అతని సమీపమున షిమ్యోను గోత్రి కులు దిగవలెను. సూరీషద్దాయి కుమారుడైన షెలుమీ యేలు షిమ్యోను కుమారులకు ప్రధానుడు.
13 అతని సేన, అనగా అతని వారిలో లెక్కింపబడినవారు ఏబది తొమి్మది వేల మూడు వందలమంది.
14 అతని సమీపమున గాదు గోత్ర ముండవలెను. రగూయేలు కుమారుడైన ఎలీయా సాపు గాదు కుమారులకు ప్రధానుడు.
15 అతని సేన, అనగా అతని వారిలో లెక్కింపబడినవారు నలుబది యయిదు వేల ఆరువందల ఏబదిమంది.
16 రూబేను పాళె ములో లెక్కింపబడిన వారందరు వారి సేనలచొప్పున లక్షయేబది యొకవేయి నాలుగువందల ఏబదిమంది. వారు రెండవతెగలో సాగినడవవలెను.
17 ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారము లేవీయుల పాళెముతో పాళెముల నడుమను సాగి నడవవలెను. వారెట్లు దిగుదురో అట్లే తమ తమ ధ్వజములనుబట్టి ప్రతివాడును తన తన వరుసలో సాగి నడవవలెను.
18 ఎఫ్రాయిము సేనలచొప్పున వారి పాళెపుధ్వజము పడమటిదిక్కున ఉండవలెను. అమీహూదు కుమారు డైన ఎలీషామా ఎఫ్రాయిము కుమారులకు ప్రధానుడు.
19 అతని సేన, అనగా అతని వారిలో లెక్కింపబడినవారు నలుబదివేల ఐదువందలమంది.
20 అతని సమీపమున మనష్షే గోత్రముండవలెను. పెదాసూరు కుమారుడైన గమలీ యేలు మనష్షే కుమారులలో ప్రధానుడు.
21 అతని సేన, అనగా అతనివారిలో లెక్కింపబడినవారు ముప్పది రెండు వేల రెండువందలమంది.
22 అతని సమీపమున బెన్యామీను గోత్రముండవలెను. గిద్యోనీ కుమారుడైన అబీదాను బెన్యామీను కుమారులకు ప్రధానుడు.
23 అతని సేన, అనగా అతని వారిలో లెక్కింపబడినవారు ముప్పది యయిదువేల నాలుగు వందలమంది.
24 ఎఫ్రాయిము పాళె ములో లెక్కింపబడిన వారందరు వారి సేనలచొప్పున లక్షయెనిమిదివేల నూరుమంది. వారు మూడవగుంపులో సాగి నడవవలెను.
25 దాను పాళెపుధ్వజము వారి సేనలచొప్పున ఉత్తర దిక్కున ఉండవలెను. అమీషదాయి కుమారుడైన అహీ యెజెరు దాను కుమారులకు ప్రధానుడు.
26 అతని సేన, అనగా అతనివారిలో లెక్కింపబడినవారు అరువది రెండు వేల ఏడువందలమంది.
27 అతని సమీపమున ఆషేరు గోత్రికులు దిగవలెను. ఒక్రాను కుమారుడైన పగీయేలు ఆషేరు కుమారులకు ప్రధానుడు.
28 అతని సేన, అనగా అతని వారిలో లెక్కింపబడినవారు నలుబదియొకవేయి ఐదువందలమంది.
29 అతని సమీపమున నఫ్తాలి గోత్రికు లుండవలెను. ఏనాను కుమారుడైన అహీర నఫ్తాలి కుమా రులకు ప్రధానుడు.
30 అతని సేన, అనగా అతని వారిలో లెక్కింపబడినవారు ఏబదిమూడువేల నాలుగువందల మంది.
31 దాను పాళెములో లెక్కింపబడినవారందరు లక్ష యేబదియేడువేల ఆరువందలమంది. వారు తమ ధ్వజముల ప్రకారము కడపటి గుంపులో నడవవలెను.
32 వీరు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబ ముల ప్రకారము లెక్కింపబడినవారు. తమ తమ సేనల చొప్పున తమ తమ పాళెములలో లెక్కింపబడినవారందరు ఆరులక్షల మూడువేల ఐదువందల ఏబదిమంది.
33 అయితే యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు లేవీయులు ఇశ్రా యేలీయులలో తమ్మును లెక్కించుకొనలేదు.
34 అట్లు ఇశ్రా యేలీయులు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు సమస్త మును చేసిరి. అట్లు వారు తమ తమ వంశములచొప్పునను తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబముల చొప్పునను ప్రతివాడు తన తన ధ్వజమునుబట్టి దిగుచు సాగుచు నుండిరి.
1 And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
2 Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father’s house: far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch.
3 And on the east side toward the rising of the sun shall they of the standard of the camp of Judah pitch throughout their armies: and Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be captain of the children of Judah.
4 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.
5 And those that do pitch next unto him shall be the tribe of Issachar: and Nethaneel the son of Zuar shall be captain of the children of Issachar.
6 And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.
7 Then the tribe of Zebulun: and Eliab the son of Helon shall be captain of the children of Zebulun.
8 And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.
9 All that were numbered in the camp of Judah were an hundred thousand and fourscore thousand and six thousand and four hundred, throughout their armies. These shall first set forth.
10 On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their armies: and the captain of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.
11 And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.
12 And those which pitch by him shall be the tribe of Simeon: and the captain of the children of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
13 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.
14 Then the tribe of Gad: and the captain of the sons of Gad shall be Eliasaph the son of Reuel.
15 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and five thousand and six hundred and fifty.
16 All that were numbered in the camp of Reuben were an hundred thousand and fifty and one thousand and four hundred and fifty, throughout their armies. And they shall set forth in the second rank.
17 Then the tabernacle of the congregation shall set forward with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camp: as they encamp, so shall they set forward, every man in his place by their standards.
18 On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their armies: and the captain of the sons of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.
19 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty thousand and five hundred.
20 And by him shall be the tribe of Manasseh: and the captain of the children of Manasseh shall be Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
21 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.
22 Then the tribe of Benjamin: and the captain of the sons of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni.
23 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.
24 All that were numbered of the camp of Ephraim were an hundred thousand and eight thousand and an hundred, throughout their armies. And they shall go forward in the third rank.
25 The standard of the camp of Dan shall be on the north side by their armies: and the captain of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
26 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.
27 And those that encamp by him shall be the tribe of Asher: and the captain of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ocran.
28 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.
29 Then the tribe of Naphtali: and the captain of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the son of Enan.
30 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
31 All they that were numbered in the camp of Dan were an hundred thousand and fifty and seven thousand and six hundred. They shall go hindmost with their standards.
32 These are those which were numbered of the children of Israel by the house of their fathers: all those that were numbered of the camps throughout their hosts were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
33 But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel; as the Lord commanded Moses.
34 And the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses: so they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward, every one after their families, according to the house of their fathers.

And when Saul’s son heard that Abner was dead in Hebron, his hands were feeble, and all the Israelites were troubled.

And Saul’s son had two men that were captains of bands: the name of the one was Baanah, and the name of the other Rechab, the sons of Rimmon a Beerothite, of the children of Benjamin: (for Beeroth also was reckoned to Benjamin:

And the Beerothites fled to Gittaim, and were sojourners there until this day.)
4 शाऊल के पुत्र योनातन के एक लंगड़ा बेटा था। जब यिज्रेल से शाऊल और योनातन का समाचार आया तब वह पांच वर्ष का था; उस समय उसकी धाई उसे उठा कर भागी; और उसके उतावली से भागने के कारण वह गिर के लंगड़ा हो गया। और उसका नाम मपीबोशेत था।
And Jonathan, Saul’s son, had a son that was lame of his feet. He was five years old when the tidings came of Saul and Jonathan out of Jezreel, and his nurse took him up, and fled: and it came to pass, as she made haste to flee, that he fell, and became lame. And his name was Mephibosheth.
5 उस बेरोती रिम्मोन के पुत्र रेकाब और बाना कड़े घाम के समय ईशबोशेत के घर में जब वह दोपहर को विश्राम कर रहा था आए।
And the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, Rechab and Baanah, went, and came about the heat of the day to the house of Ish-bosheth, who lay on a bed at noon.
6 और गेहूं ले जाने के बहाने मे घर में घुस गए; और उसके पेट में मारा; तब रेकाब और उसका भाई बाना भाग निकले।
And they came thither into the midst of the house, as though they would have fetched wheat; and they smote him under the fifth rib: and Rechab and Baanah his brother escaped.
7 जब वे घर में घुसे, और वह सोने की कोठरी में चारपाई पर सोता था, तब अन्होंने उसे मार डाला, और उसका सिर काट लिया, और उसका सिर ले कर रातोंरात अराबा के मार्ग से चले।
For when they came into the house, he lay on his bed in his bedchamber, and they smote him, and slew him, and beheaded him, and took his head, and gat them away through the plain all night.
8 और वे ईशबोशेत का सिर हेब्रोन में दाऊद के पास ले जा कर राजा से कहने लगे, देख, शाऊल जो तेरा शत्रु और तेरे प्राणों का ग्राहक था, उसके पुत्र ईशबोशेत का यह सिर है; तो आज के दिन यहोवा ने शाऊल और उसके वंश से मेरे प्रभु राजा का पलटा लिया है।
And they brought the head of Ish-bosheth unto David to Hebron, and said to the king, Behold the head of Ish-bosheth the son of Saul thine enemy, which sought thy life; and the Lord hath avenged my lord the king this day of Saul, and of his seed.
9 दाऊद ने बेरोती रिम्मोन के पुत्र रेकाब और उसके भाई बाना को उत्तर देकर उन से कहा, यहोवा जो मेरे प्राण को सब विपत्तियों से छुड़ाता आया है, उसके जीवन की शपथ,
And David answered Rechab and Baanah his brother, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, and said unto them, As the Lord liveth, who hath redeemed my soul out of all adversity,
10 जब किसी ने यह जानकर, कि मैं शुभ समाचार देता हूं, सिकलग में मुझ को शाऊल के मरने का समाचार दिया, तब मैं ने उसको पकड़कर घात कराया; अर्थात उसको समाचार का यही बदला मिला।
When one told me, saying, Behold, Saul is dead, thinking to have brought good tidings, I took hold of him, and slew him in Ziklag, who thought that I would have given him a reward for his tidings:
11 फिर जब दुष्ट मनुष्यों ने एक निर्दोष मनुष्य को उसी के घर में, वरन उसकी चारपाई ही पर घात किया, तो मैं अब अवश्य ही उसके खून का पलटा तुम से लूंगा, और तुम्हें धरती पर से नष्ट कर डालूंगा।
How much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house upon his bed? shall I not therefore now require his blood of your hand, and take you away from the earth?
12 तब दाऊद ने जवानों को आज्ञा दी, और उन्होंने उन को घात करके उनके हाथ पांव काट दिए, और उनकी लोथों को हेब्रोन के पोखरे के पास टांग दिया। तब ईशबोशेत के सिर को उठा कर हेब्रोन में अब्नेर की कब्र में गाड़ दिया।
And David commanded his young men, and they slew them, and cut off their hands and their feet, and hanged them up over the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ish-bosheth, and buried it in the sepulchre of Abner in Hebron.
