וְאִ֣ישׁ the veh-EESH יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל men yees-ra-ALE נִשְׁבַּ֥ע of neesh-BA בַּמִּצְפָּ֖ה Israel ba-meets-PA לֵאמֹ֑ר had lay-MORE אִ֣ישׁ sworn eesh מִמֶּ֔נּוּ in mee-MEH-noo לֹֽא Mizpeh, loh יִתֵּ֥ן saying, yee-TANE בִּתּ֛וֹ There BEE-toh לְבִנְיָמִ֖ן shall leh-veen-ya-MEEN לְאִשָּֽׁה׃ not leh-ee-SHA -
וַיָּבֹ֤א the va-ya-VOH הָעָם֙ people ha-AM בֵּֽית came bate אֵ֔ל to ale וַיֵּ֤שְׁבוּ the va-YAY-sheh-voo שָׁם֙ house shahm עַד of ad הָעֶ֔רֶב God, ha-EH-rev לִפְנֵ֖י and leef-NAY הָֽאֱלֹהִ֑ים abode ha-ay-loh-HEEM וַיִּשְׂא֣וּ there va-yees-OO קוֹלָ֔ם till koh-LAHM וַיִּבְכּ֖וּ even va-yeev-KOO בְּכִ֥י before beh-HEE גָדֽוֹל׃ God, ɡa-DOLE -
וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ said, va-YOH-meh-ROO לָמָ֗ה O la-MA יְהוָה֙ Lord yeh-VA אֱלֹהֵ֣י God ay-loh-HAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of yees-ra-ALE הָ֥יְתָה Israel, HA-yeh-ta זֹ֖את why zote בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל is beh-yees-ra-ALE לְהִפָּקֵ֥ד this leh-hee-pa-KADE הַיּ֛וֹם come HA-yome מִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֖ל to mee-yees-ra-ALE שֵׁ֥בֶט pass SHAY-vet אֶחָֽד׃ in eh-HAHD -
וַֽיְהִי֙ it va-HEE מִֽמָּחֳרָ֔ת came mee-ma-hoh-RAHT וַיַּשְׁכִּ֣ימוּ to va-yahsh-KEE-moo הָעָ֔ם pass ha-AM וַיִּבְנוּ on va-yeev-NOO שָׁ֖ם the shahm מִזְבֵּ֑חַ morrow, meez-BAY-ak וַיַּֽעֲל֥וּ that va-ya-uh-LOO עֹל֖וֹת the oh-LOTE וּשְׁלָמִֽים׃ people oo-sheh-la-MEEM -
וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙ the va-yoh-meh-ROO בְּנֵ֣י children beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of yees-ra-ALE מִ֠י Israel mee אֲשֶׁ֨ר said, uh-SHER לֹֽא Who loh עָלָ֧ה is ah-LA בַקָּהָ֛ל there va-ka-HAHL מִכָּל among mee-KAHL שִׁבְטֵ֥י all sheev-TAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל the yees-ra-ALE אֶל tribes el יְהוָ֑ה of yeh-VA כִּי֩ Israel kee הַשְּׁבוּעָ֨ה that ha-sheh-voo-AH הַגְּדוֹלָ֜ה came ha-ɡeh-doh-LA הָֽיְתָ֗ה not ha-yeh-TA לַֽ֠אֲשֶׁר up LA-uh-sher לֹֽא with loh עָלָ֨ה the ah-LA אֶל congregation el יְהוָ֧ה unto yeh-VA הַמִּצְפָּ֛ה the ha-meets-PA לֵאמֹ֖ר Lord? lay-MORE מ֥וֹת For mote יוּמָֽת׃ they yoo-MAHT -
וַיִּנָּֽחֲמוּ֙ the va-yee-na-huh-MOO בְּנֵ֣י children beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of yees-ra-ALE אֶל Israel el בִּנְיָמִ֖ן repented been-ya-MEEN אָחִ֑יו them ah-HEEOO וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ for va-YOH-meh-ROO נִגְדַּ֥ע Benjamin neeɡ-DA הַיּ֛וֹם their HA-yome שֵׁ֥בֶט brother, SHAY-vet אֶחָ֖ד and eh-HAHD מִיִּשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ said, mee-yees-ra-ALE -
מַה shall ma נַּֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה we na-uh-SEH לָהֶ֛ם do la-HEM לַנּֽוֹתָרִ֖ים for la-noh-ta-REEM לְנָשִׁ֑ים wives leh-na-SHEEM וַֽאֲנַ֙חְנוּ֙ for va-uh-NAHK-NOO נִשְׁבַּ֣עְנוּ them neesh-BA-noo בַֽיהוָ֔ה that vai-VA לְבִלְתִּ֛י remain, leh-veel-TEE תֵּת seeing tate לָהֶ֥ם we la-HEM מִבְּנוֹתֵ֖ינוּ have mee-beh-noh-TAY-noo לְנָשִֽׁים׃ sworn leh-na-SHEEM -
וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ they va-YOH-meh-ROO מִ֗י said, mee אֶחָד֙ What eh-HAHD מִשִּׁבְטֵ֣י one mee-sheev-TAY יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל is yees-ra-ALE אֲשֶׁ֛ר there uh-SHER לֹֽא of loh עָלָ֥ה the ah-LA אֶל tribes el יְהוָ֖ה of yeh-VA הַמִּצְפָּ֑ה Israel ha-meets-PA וְ֠הִנֵּה that VEH-hee-nay לֹ֣א came loh בָא not va אִ֧ישׁ up eesh אֶל el הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֛ה to ha-ma-huh-NEH מִיָּבֵ֥ישׁ Mizpeh mee-ya-VAYSH גִּלְעָ֖ד to ɡeel-AD אֶל the el הַקָּהָֽל׃ Lord? ha-ka-HAHL -
וַיִּתְפָּקֵ֖ד the va-yeet-pa-KADE הָעָ֑ם people ha-AM וְהִנֵּ֤ה were veh-hee-NAY אֵֽין numbered, ane שָׁם֙ and, shahm אִ֔ישׁ behold, eesh מִיּֽוֹשְׁבֵ֖י there mee-yoh-sheh-VAY יָבֵ֥שׁ were ya-VAYSH גִּלְעָֽד׃ none ɡeel-AD -
וַיִּשְׁלְחוּ the va-yeesh-leh-HOO שָׁ֣ם congregation shahm הָֽעֵדָ֗ה sent ha-ay-DA שְׁנֵים thither sheh-NAME עָשָׂ֥ר twelve ah-SAHR אֶ֛לֶף EH-lef אִ֖ישׁ thousand eesh מִבְּנֵ֣י men mee-beh-NAY הֶחָ֑יִל of heh-HA-yeel וַיְצַוּ֨וּ the vai-TSA-woo אוֹתָ֜ם valiantest, oh-TAHM לֵאמֹ֗ר lay-MORE לְ֠כוּ and LEH-hoo וְהִכִּיתֶ֞ם commanded veh-hee-kee-TEM אֶת them, et יֽוֹשְׁבֵ֨י saying, yoh-sheh-VAY יָבֵ֤שׁ Go ya-VAYSH גִּלְעָד֙ and ɡeel-AD לְפִי smite leh-FEE חֶ֔רֶב HEH-rev וְהַנָּשִׁ֖ים the veh-ha-na-SHEEM וְהַטָּֽף׃ inhabitants veh-ha-TAHF -
וְזֶ֥ה this veh-ZEH הַדָּבָ֖ר is ha-da-VAHR אֲשֶׁ֣ר the uh-SHER תַּֽעֲשׂ֑וּ thing ta-uh-SOO כָּל that kahl זָכָ֗ר ye za-HAHR וְכָל shall veh-HAHL אִשָּׁ֛ה do, ee-SHA יֹדַ֥עַת Ye yoh-DA-at מִשְׁכַּב shall meesh-KAHV זָכָ֖ר utterly za-HAHR תַּֽחֲרִֽימוּ׃ destroy TA-huh-REE-moo -
וַֽיִּמְצְא֞וּ they va-yeem-tseh-OO מִיּֽוֹשְׁבֵ֣י׀ found mee-yoh-sheh-VAY יָבֵ֣ישׁ among ya-VAYSH גִּלְעָ֗ד the ɡeel-AD אַרְבַּ֤ע inhabitants ar-BA מֵאוֹת֙ of may-OTE נַֽעֲרָ֣ה Jabesh-gilead na-uh-RA בְתוּלָ֔ה veh-too-LA אֲשֶׁ֧ר four uh-SHER לֹֽא hundred loh יָדְעָ֛ה young yode-AH אִ֖ישׁ virgins, eesh לְמִשְׁכַּ֣ב that leh-meesh-KAHV זָכָ֑ר had za-HAHR וַיָּבִ֨אוּ known va-ya-VEE-oo אוֹתָ֤ם no oh-TAHM אֶל man el הַֽמַּחֲנֶה֙ by ha-ma-huh-NEH שִׁלֹ֔ה lying shee-LOH אֲשֶׁ֖ר with uh-SHER בְּאֶ֥רֶץ any beh-EH-rets כְּנָֽעַן׃ male: keh-NA-an -
וַֽיִּשְׁלְחוּ֙ the va-yeesh-leh-HOO כָּל whole kahl הָ֣עֵדָ֔ה congregation HA-ay-DA וַֽיְדַבְּרוּ֙ sent va-da-beh-ROO אֶל some el בְּנֵ֣י to beh-NAY בִנְיָמִ֔ן speak veen-ya-MEEN אֲשֶׁ֖ר to uh-SHER בְּסֶ֣לַע the beh-SEH-la רִמּ֑וֹן children REE-mone וַיִּקְרְא֥וּ of va-yeek-reh-OO לָהֶ֖ם Benjamin la-HEM שָׁלֽוֹם׃ that sha-LOME -
וַיָּ֤שָׁב Benjamin va-YA-shove בִּנְיָמִן֙ came been-ya-MEEN בָּעֵ֣ת again ba-ATE הַהִ֔יא at ha-HEE וַיִּתְּנ֤וּ that va-yee-teh-NOO לָהֶם֙ time; la-HEM הַנָּשִׁ֔ים and ha-na-SHEEM אֲשֶׁ֣ר they uh-SHER חִיּ֔וּ gave HEE-yoo מִנְּשֵׁ֖י them mee-neh-SHAY יָבֵ֣שׁ wives ya-VAYSH גִּלְעָ֑ד which ɡeel-AD וְלֹֽא they veh-LOH מָצְא֥וּ had mohts-OO לָהֶ֖ם saved la-HEM כֵּֽן׃ alive kane -
וְהָעָ֥ם the veh-ha-AM נִחָ֖ם people nee-HAHM לְבִנְיָמִ֑ן repented leh-veen-ya-MEEN כִּֽי them kee עָשָׂ֧ה for ah-SA יְהוָ֛ה Benjamin, yeh-VA פֶּ֖רֶץ because PEH-rets בְּשִׁבְטֵ֥י that beh-sheev-TAY יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ the yees-ra-ALE -
וַיֹּֽאמְר֨וּ the va-yoh-meh-ROO זִקְנֵ֣י elders zeek-NAY הָֽעֵדָ֔ה of ha-ay-DA מַה the ma נַּֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה congregation na-uh-SEH לַנּֽוֹתָרִ֖ים said, la-noh-ta-REEM לְנָשִׁ֑ים How leh-na-SHEEM כִּֽי shall kee נִשְׁמְדָ֥ה we neesh-meh-DA מִבִּנְיָמִ֖ן do mee-been-ya-MEEN אִשָּֽׁה׃ for ee-SHA -
וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ they va-YOH-meh-ROO יְרֻשַּׁ֥ת said, yeh-roo-SHAHT פְּלֵיטָ֖ה There peh-lay-TA לְבִנְיָמִ֑ן must leh-veen-ya-MEEN וְלֹֽא be veh-LOH יִמָּחֶ֥ה an yee-ma-HEH שֵׁ֖בֶט inheritance SHAY-vet מִיִּשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ for mee-yees-ra-ALE -
וַֽאֲנַ֗חְנוּ we va-uh-NAHK-noo לֹ֥א may loh נוּכַ֛ל not noo-HAHL לָֽתֵת give LA-tate לָהֶ֥ם them la-HEM נָשִׁ֖ים wives na-SHEEM מִבְּנוֹתֵ֑ינוּ of mee-beh-noh-TAY-noo כִּֽי our kee נִשְׁבְּע֤וּ daughters: neesh-beh-OO בְנֵֽי for veh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ the yees-ra-ALE לֵאמֹ֔ר children lay-MORE אָר֕וּר of ah-ROOR נֹתֵ֥ן Israel noh-TANE אִשָּׁ֖ה have ee-SHA לְבִנְיָמִֽן׃ sworn, leh-veen-ya-MEEN -
וַיֹּֽאמְר֡וּ they va-yoh-meh-ROO הִנֵּה֩ said, hee-NAY חַג Behold, hahɡ יְהוָ֨ה there yeh-VA בְּשִׁל֜וֹ is beh-shee-LOH מִיָּמִ֣ים׀ a mee-ya-MEEM יָמִ֗ימָה feast ya-MEE-ma אֲשֶׁ֞ר of uh-SHER מִצְּפ֤וֹנָה the mee-tseh-FOH-na לְבֵֽית Lord leh-VATE אֵל֙ in ale מִזְרְחָ֣ה Shiloh meez-reh-HA הַשֶּׁ֔מֶשׁ yearly ha-SHEH-mesh לִ֨מְסִלָּ֔ה LEEM-see-LA הָֽעֹלָ֥ה in ha-oh-LA מִבֵּֽית a mee-BATE אֵ֖ל place ale שְׁכֶ֑מָה which sheh-HEH-ma וּמִנֶּ֖גֶב is oo-mee-NEH-ɡev לִלְבוֹנָֽה׃ on leel-voh-NA -

וְהָיָ֡ה it veh-ha-YA כִּֽי shall kee יָבֹ֣אוּ be, ya-VOH-oo אֲבוֹתָם֩ when uh-voh-TAHM א֨וֹ their oh אֲחֵיהֶ֜ם fathers uh-hay-HEM לָרִ֣וֹב׀ or la-REE-ove אֵלֵ֗ינוּ their ay-LAY-noo וְאָמַ֤רְנוּ brethren veh-ah-MAHR-noo אֲלֵיהֶם֙ come uh-lay-HEM חָנּ֣וּנוּ unto HA-noo-noo אוֹתָ֔ם us oh-TAHM כִּ֣י to kee לֹ֥א complain, loh לָקַ֛חְנוּ that la-KAHK-noo אִ֥ישׁ we eesh אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ will eesh-TOH בַּמִּלְחָמָ֑ה say ba-meel-ha-MA כִּ֣י unto kee לֹ֥א them, loh אַתֶּ֛ם Be ah-TEM נְתַתֶּ֥ם favourable neh-ta-TEM לָהֶ֖ם unto la-HEM כָּעֵ֥ת them ka-ATE תֶּאְשָֽׁמוּ׃ for teh-sha-MOO -
וַיַּֽעֲשׂוּ the va-YA-uh-soo כֵן֙ children hane בְּנֵ֣י of beh-NAY בִנְיָמִ֔ן Benjamin veen-ya-MEEN וַיִּשְׂא֤וּ did va-yees-OO נָשִׁים֙ so, na-SHEEM לְמִסְפָּרָ֔ם leh-mees-pa-RAHM מִן and meen הַמְּחֹֽלְל֖וֹת took ha-meh-hoh-leh-LOTE אֲשֶׁ֣ר them uh-SHER גָּזָ֑לוּ wives, ɡa-ZA-loo וַיֵּֽלְכ֗וּ according va-yay-leh-HOO וַיָּשׁ֙וּבוּ֙ to va-ya-SHOO-VOO אֶל their el נַ֣חֲלָתָ֔ם number, NA-huh-la-TAHM וַיִּבְנוּ֙ of va-yeev-NOO אֶת them et הֶ֣עָרִ֔ים that HEH-ah-REEM וַיֵּֽשְׁב֖וּ danced, va-yay-sheh-VOO בָּהֶֽם׃ whom ba-HEM -
וַיִּתְהַלְּכ֨וּ the va-yeet-ha-leh-HOO מִשָּׁ֤ם children mee-SHAHM בְּנֵֽי of beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ Israel yees-ra-ALE בָּעֵ֣ת departed ba-ATE הַהִ֔יא thence ha-HEE אִ֥ישׁ at eesh לְשִׁבְט֖וֹ that leh-sheev-TOH וּלְמִשְׁפַּחְתּ֑וֹ time, oo-leh-meesh-pahk-TOH וַיֵּֽצְא֣וּ every va-yay-tseh-OO מִשָּׁ֔ם man mee-SHAHM אִ֖ישׁ to eesh לְנַֽחֲלָתֽוֹ׃ his leh-NA-huh-la-TOH -
