యెషయా గ్రంథము 50:7
ప్రభువగు యెహోవా నాకు సహాయము చేయువాడు గనుక నేను సిగ్గుపడలేదు నేను సిగ్గుపడనని యెరిగి నా ముఖమును చెకుముకిరాతివలె చేసికొంటిని.

| my face | שַׂ֤מְתִּי | śamtî | SAHM-tee |
| like a flint, | פָנַי֙ | pānay | fa-NA |
| know I and | כַּֽחַלָּמִ֔ישׁ | kaḥallāmîš | ka-ha-la-MEESH |
| that | וָאֵדַ֖ע | wāʾēdaʿ | va-ay-DA |
| I shall not | כִּי | kî | kee |
| be ashamed. | לֹ֥א | lōʾ | loh |
