నిర్గమకాండము 3
1 మోషే మిద్యాను యాజకుడైన యిత్రో అను తన మామ మందను మేపుచు, ఆ మందను అరణ్యము అవతలకు తోలుకొని దేవుని పర్వతమైన హోరేబుకు వచ్చెను.
2 ఒక పొద నడిమిని అగ్నిజ్వాలలో యెహోవా దూత అతనికి ప్రత్యక్షమాయెను. అతడు చూచినప్పుడు అగ్ని వలన ఆ పొద మండుచుండెను. గాని పొద కాలిపోలేదు.
3 అప్పుడు మోషేఆ పొద యేల కాలిపోలేదో నేను ఆ తట్టు వెళ్లి యీ గొప్పవింత చూచెదననుకొనెను.
4 దానిని చూచుటకు అతడు ఆ తట్టు వచ్చుట యెహోవా చూచెను. దేవుడు ఆ పొద నడుమనుండిమోషే మోషే అని అతనిని పిలిచెను. అందుకతడుచిత్తము ప్రభువా అనెను.
5 అందుకాయనదగ్గరకు రావద్దు, నీ పాదముల నుండి నీ చెప్పులు విడువుము, నీవు నిలిచియున్న స్థలము పరిశుద్ధ ప్రదేశము అనెను.
6 మరియు ఆయననేను నీ తండ్రి దేవుడను, అబ్రాహాము దేవుడను ఇస్సాకు దేవుడను యాకోబు దేవుడను అని చెప్పగా మోషే తన ముఖ మును కప్పుకొని దేవునివైపు చూడ వెరచెను.
7 మరియు యెహోవా యిట్లనెనునేను ఐగుప్తులోనున్న నా ప్రజల బాధను నిశ్చయముగా చూచితిని, పనులలో తమ్మును కష్టపెట్టువారినిబట్టి వారు పెట్టిన మొరను వింటిని, వారి దుఃఖములు నాకు తెలిసే యున్నవి.
8 కాబట్టి ఐగుప్తీయుల చేతిలోనుండి వారిని విడిపించుటకును, ఆ దేశములోనుండి విశాలమైన మంచి దేశమునకు, అనగా కనానీయులకు హిత్తీయులకు అమోరీయులకు పెరిజ్జీయు లకు హివ్వీయులకు యెబూసీయులకు నివాసస్థానమై, పాలు తేనెలు ప్రవహించు దేశమునకు వారిని నడిపించు టకును దిగివచ్చి యున్నాను.
9 ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మొర నిజముగా నాయొద్దకు చేరినది, ఐగుప్తీయులు వారినిపెట్టు చున్న హింస చూచితిని.
10 కాగా రమ్ము, నిన్ను ఫరోయొద్దకు పంపెదను; ఇశ్రాయేలీయులైన నా ప్రజలను నీవు ఐగుప్తులోనుండి తోడుకొని పోవలెననెను.
11 అందుకు మోషేనేను ఫరో యొద్దకు వెళ్లుటకును, ఇశ్రాయేలీయు లను ఐగుప్తు లోనుండి తోడుకొని పోవుటకును ఎంతటివాడ నని దేవునితో అనగా
12 ఆయననిశ్చయముగా నేను నీకు తోడై యుందును, నేను నిన్ను పంపితిననుటకు ఇది నీకు సూచన; నీవు ఆ ప్రజలను ఐగుప్తులోనుండి తోడు కొని వచ్చిన తరువాత మీరు ఈ పర్వతముమీద దేవుని సేవించెదరనెను.
13 మోషేచిత్తగించుము; నేను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులయొద్దకు వెళ్లి వారిని చూచిమీ పితరుల దేవుడు మీ యొద్దకు నన్ను పంపెనని వారితో చెప్పగా వారుఆయన పేరేమి అని అడిగిన యెడల వారితో నే నేమి చెప్పవలెనని దేవుని నడిగెను.
14 అందుకు దేవుడునేను ఉన్నవాడను అను వాడనైయున్నానని మోషేతో చెప్పెను. మరియు ఆయనఉండుననువాడు మీయొద్దకు నన్ను పంపెనని నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో చెప్పవలెననెను.
15 మరియు దేవుడు మోషేతో నిట్లనెనుమీ పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా, అనగా అబ్రాహాము దేవుడు ఇస్సాకు దేవుడు యాకోబు దేవుడు నైన యెహోవా మీ యొద్దకు నన్ను పంపెనని నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో చెప్పవలెను. నిరంతరము నా నామము ఇదే, తరతరములకు ఇది నా జ్ఞాపకార్థక నామము.
16 నీవు వెళ్లి ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పెద్దలను పోగు చేసిమీ పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా, అనగా అబ్రాహాము ఇస్సాకు యాకోబుల దేవుడు, నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యిట్లనెను నేను మిమ్మును, ఐగుప్తులో మీకు సంభవించిన దానిని, నిశ్చయముగా చూచితిని,
17 ఐగుప్తు బాధలోనుండి పాలు తేనెలు ప్రవహించు దేశమునకు, అనగా కనానీయులు హిత్తీయులు అమోరీయులు పెరిజ్జీయులు హివ్వీయులు యెబూసీయులున్న దేశమునకు మిమ్ము రప్పించెదనని సెలవిచ్చితినని వారితో చెప్పుము.
18 వారు నీ మాట విందురు గనుక నీవును ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పెద్దలును ఐగుప్తు రాజు నొద్దకు వెళ్లి అతని చూచిహెబ్రీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా మాకు ప్రత్యక్షమాయెను గనుక మేము అరణ్యమునకు మూడుదినముల ప్రయాణ మంత దూరము పోయి మా దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు బలిని సమర్పించుదుము సెలవిమ్మని అతనితో చెప్ప వలెను.
19 ఐగుప్తు రాజు మహాబలముతో మీ మీదికి వచ్చి మిమ్ము పోనియ్యడని నేనెరుగుదును;
20 కాని, నేను నా చెయ్యి చాపి ఐగుప్తు మధ్యమున నేను చేయ దలచియున్న నా అద్భు తములన్నిటిని చూపి దాని పాడుచేసెదను. అటుతరువాత అతడు మిమ్ము పంపివేయును.
21 జనుల యెడల ఐగుప్తీయులకు కటాక్షము కలుగజేసెదను గనుక మీరు వెళ్లునప్పుడు వట్టిచేతులతో వెళ్లరు.
22 ప్రతి స్త్రీయు తన పొరుగుదానిని తన యింటనుండు దానిని వెండి నగలను బంగారునగలను వస్త్రములను ఇమ్మని అడిగి తీసికొని, మీరు వాటిని మీ కుమారులకును మీ కుమార్తెలకును ధరింపచేసి ఐగుప్తీయులను దోచుకొందురనెను.
1 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.
2 And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
4 And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
6 Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
7 And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
9 Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
10 Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.
11 And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?
12 And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.
13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?
14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.
16 Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt:
17 And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.
18 And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The Lord God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God.
19 And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand.
20 And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go.
21 And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty:
22 But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall spoil the Egyptians.

1 যিহোয়াকীমের রাজত্বকালে বাবিল-রাজ নবূখদ্নিত্সর যিহূদায় আসেন| তিন বছর তাঁর বশ্যতা স্বীকার করার পর যিহোয়াকীম তাঁর বিরুদ্ধে বিদ্রোহ করেন|
In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him.
2 প্রভু বাবিলীয, অরামীয়, মোয়াবীয়, অম্মোনীয়দের দলকে যিহোয়াকীমের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করিযে তাঁকে ধ্বংস করতে পাঠিয়েছিলেন| প্রভু তাঁর সেবক ভাব্বাদীদের মুখ দিয়ে করা ভবিষ্যত্বাণী অনুযায়ীএই সমস্ত শএুদের যিহূদা ধ্বংস করার জন্য পাঠান|
And the Lord sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by his servants the prophets.
3 এই ভাবেই প্রভু যিহূদাকে তাঁর চোখের সামনে থেকে সরিয়ে দেবার পরিকল্পনা করেন| মনঃশির পাপাচরণের জন্যই প্রভু এ সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছিলেন|
Surely at the commandment of the Lord came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;
4 মনঃশি বহু নিরীহ লোককে হত্যা করে জেরুশালেম রক্তে পরিপূর্ণ করেছিলেন যা প্রভু কখনও ক্ষমা করেন নি|
And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the Lord would not pardon.
5 যিহোয়াকীম অন্যান্য য়ে সমস্ত কাজ করেছিলেন সে সবই ‘যিহূদার রাজাদের ইতিহাস’ গ্রন্থে লিপিবদ্ধ আছে|
Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
6 যিহোয়াকীমের মৃত্যুর পর তাঁকে তাঁর পূর্বপুরুষদের সঙ্গে সমাধিস্থ করা হয়| তাঁর পরে, তাঁর পুত্র যিহোয়াখীন নতুন রাজা হলেন|
So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.
7 এদিকে বাবিল-রাজ মিশরের খাঁড়ি থেকে শুরু করে ফরাত্ নদী পর্য়ন্ত সমস্ত অঞ্চল দখল করায মিশর-রাজ তাঁর দেশ ছেড়ে আর বেরোনোর চেষ্টাই করেন নি| এই সমস্ত অঞ্চলই আগে তাঁর শাসনাধীন ছিল|
And the king of Egypt came not again any more out of his land: for the king of Babylon had taken from the river of Egypt unto the river Euphrates all that pertained to the king of Egypt.
8 যিহোয়াখীন 18 বছর বযসে রাজা হবার পর মাত্র তিন মাস জেরুশালেমে রাজত্ব করেছিলেন| তাঁর মা ছিলেন জেরুশালেমের ইল্নাথনের কন্যা নহুষ্টা|
Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. And his mother’s name was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.
9 যিহোয়াখীন তাঁর পিতার মতই প্রভু য়ে সমস্ত কাজ করতে বারণ করেছিলেন, সেই সব কাজ করেছিলেন|
And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father had done.
10 সেই সময়, নবূখদ্নিত্সরের সেনাপতিরা এসে চারপাশ থেকে জেরুশালেম ঘিরে ফেলেছিলেন|
At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.
11 তারপর নবূখদ্নিত্সর বয়ং শহরে আসেন|
And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came against the city, and his servants did besiege it.
12 যিহূদার রাজা যিহোয়াখীন তাঁর মা, সেনাপতিদের, নেতাদের ও আধিকারিকদের সকলকে নিয়ে তাঁর সঙ্গে দেখা করতে গেলে বাবিলরাজ তাঁকে বন্দী করেন| নবূখদ্নিত্সরের শাসন কালের অষ্টম বছরে এই ঘটনা ঘটেছিল|
And Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.
13 নবূখদ্নিত্সর জেরুশালেমের প্রভুর মন্দির ও রাজপ্রাসাদ থেকে সমস্ত সম্পদ অপহরণ করে নিয়ে যান| রাজা শলোমন প্রভুর মন্দিরে য়ে সমস্ত সোনার থালা বসিযেছিলেন, প্রভুর ভবিষ্যত্বাণী অনুযাযীই নবূখদ্নিত্সর মন্দির থেকে সে সমস্ত থালা খুলে নিয়ে গিয়েছিলেন|
And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king’s house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the Lord, as the Lord had said.
14 নবূখদ্নিত্সর নেতা ও ধনীলোক সহ জেরুশালেম থেকে 10,000 ব্যক্তিকে বন্দী করে নিয়ে যান| হতদরিদ্র লোক ছাড়া, কারিগর থেকে শ্রমিক সমস্ত লোককেই তিনি বন্দী করেন|
And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.
15 রাজা যিহোয়াখীন ও তাঁর মা, স্ত্রীদের, আধিকারিক ও প্রতিপত্তিশালী ব্যক্তিদের বন্দী করে বাবিলে নিয়ে গিয়েছিলেন|
And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the king’s mother, and the king’s wives, and his officers, and the mighty of the land, those carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
16 মোট 7,000 দক্ষ সৈনিক ও 1,000 কুশলী কারিগরকে বাবিলরাজ নবূখদ্নিত্সর বাবিলে বন্দী করে নিয়ে যান|
And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all that were strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
17 বাবিল-রাজ নবূখদ্নিত্সর, যিহোয়াখীনের কাকা মত্তনিয়ের নাম পালেট সিদিকিয় রেখে তাঁকে রাজা করেছিলেন|
And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his father’s brother king in his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah.
18 সিদিকিয় 21 বছর বযসে রাজা হয়ে 11 বছর জেরুশালেমে রাজত্ব করেন| তাঁর মা ছিলেন লিব্নার য়িরমিযের কন্যা হমূটল|
Zedekiah was twenty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
19 যিহোয়াখীনের মতই সিদিকিয়, প্রভু যা কিছু করতে বারণ করেছিলেন সে সমস্ত কাজই করেছিলেন|
And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
20 জেরুশালেম ও যিহূদার ওপর প্রভু এত রুদ্ধ হয়েছিলেন য়ে প্রভু এই দুই দেশকে তাঁর চোখের সামনে থেকে মুছে ফেলেন|সিদিকিয় বাবিল-রাজের কর্ত্তত্ব অস্বীকার করেছিলেন|
For through the anger of the Lord it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
