నిర్గమకాండము 15:9
తరిమెదను కలిసికొనియెదను దోపుడుసొమ్ము పంచుకొనియెదను వాటివలన నా ఆశ తీర్చుకొనియెదను నా కత్తి దూసెదను నా చెయ్యి వారిని నాశనము చేయునని శత్రువనుకొనెను.

| I will divide | אֲחַלֵּ֣ק | ʾăḥallēq | uh-ha-LAKE |
| the spoil; | שָׁלָ֑ל | šālāl | sha-LAHL |
| lust my | תִּמְלָאֵ֣מוֹ | timlāʾēmô | teem-la-A-moh |
| shall be satisfied | נַפְשִׁ֔י | napšî | nahf-SHEE |
| draw will I them; upon | אָרִ֣יק | ʾārîq | ah-REEK |
| my sword, | חַרְבִּ֔י | ḥarbî | hahr-BEE |
| my hand | תּֽוֹרִישֵׁ֖מוֹ | tôrîšēmô | toh-ree-SHAY-moh |
| shall destroy | יָדִֽי׃ | yādî | ya-DEE |
